Dear Friends,

Important Note — The site was hacked yesterday. I’ve managed to get it back online for now after a nail-biting day. This was temporary fix and it still needs work, so I may need to take it offline again for a while. In which case I appreciate your patience as I resolve this issue — I’m working as fast as possible with my service provider, and web developer.

Thanks to this your November Monthly Horoscopes have been delayed, but I’m working on them now and trying my best to have them up tomorrow.

14971878_10205602925152458_723689777_nMeanwhile — we’re moving forward from the Scorpio New Moon entering a new cycle, asking you to let go of perceptions and surrender to the mystery.

Currently, the Moon is in Capricorn moving to a conjunction to Mars early Sunday, before it enters Aquarius at 9:55 AM EDT. Don’t forget to look to the up to the skies, it should be a breathtaking sight.

As above so below, the Moon rules our emotions and Mars is hot, fiery energy — expect to feel the heat. There are deep emotions and passions stirring, surging and welling up, (even through the carefully controlled exterior of Capricorn) reaching a boiling point, before there can be a transformation. Hopefully this isn’t a meltdown. But trust what’s unfolding is what needs to happen so there can be change.

These are Mars’ last days in Capricorn before it ingresses Aquarius, and tonight’s Moon-Mars conjunction is likely to bring deep awareness of desires, motivations, fears, expectations, what you need to do to bring about change, and your power to do it. Once the Moon enters and moves through Aquarius over the next couple of days, a level of detachment is called for.

Nov. 8, 2016 marks election day here — and the skies reflect a coming change. There’s a domino effect unfolding in the days that follow. Mars enters Aquarius on Nov. 9, 2016, followed by Venus’ entry into Capricorn and Mercury’s entry into Sagittarius on Nov. 12, 2016.With personal planets changing signs, expect to feel the shift in a very personal way.

I’ve written about these transits in detail in this months Scorpio New Moon report, below is an excerpt. To receive this report in your email you can sign up here or make a one-time purchase at this link.

I’ll be back with your horoscopes and more astrology soon…

With Love,

Priya

Scorpio New Moon: Oct. 31 – Nov. 14, 2016 (and beyond)

Excerpt ==

“Life is changing profoundly. With the New Moon’s trine to Neptune, this is very magical, alchemical, seductive, sexual, fertile, and transformative energy. Relationships are deepening — especially those that involve sex and money — with powerful, magnetic, attractions drawing you further into situations, asking for surrender.

“As mystical and magical as this energy is, it could be equally slippery, insidious and even dangerous. It’s important you are clear and stay anchored in your values, so you aren’t swept away in the undercurrent or find yourself in too deep, or in murky waters.

“Trust your intuition, avoid compromising your values and be conscious of your attachments, desires — especially to sex and money which could suck you into the illusion, draining your energy, time, money and resources — then you can consciously navigate your way forward.

“Scorpio is a water sign; this is deeply penetrative energy. Like water it can seep through the cracks to reach the deepest crevices of the earth and reality. Your intuition is running strong allowing you to penetrate through the veil to the reality of a situation. But avoid any temptation to manipulate or control a situation — which will ultimately be self-destructive. Your real strength and power, lies in your ability to be vulnerable, flexible, yet wise and smart.”

“Scorpio represents that which we must face; it is a rite of passage, and the only way out is through. The key to getting what you want with Scorpio, especially as Mars ingresses Aquarius, is detachment. It’s about deep acceptance and surrender in the present moment — that’s where you will find your power to make what needs to happen, happen.” — Priya Kale, Scorpio New Moon report, Oct. 31 – Nov. 14, 2016

Venus-Saturn conjunction, Moving to Scorpio New Moon | ISAR Interview with Matt Savinar

Jupiter in Libra Consultation – 45 min – $108.00

Personal Astrology Consultations

Dear Friends,

What a week and Full Moon! I returned from the ISAR conference in California, and I’m just about settling down, getting back to life after a hectic couple of weeks on the road. But wanted to do a quick check in with you and the skies —

We’re past the Aries Full Moon, in conjunction to Uranus; and the Mars-Pluto conjunction, bringing unpredictable developments, taking us beyond a point of no return. This has been a process of learning to trust, surrender and to be aware of one’s power in a situation. Only then can there be constructive change rather than feeling like you’re diving into the wreckage.

No one and nothing can have power over you, unless you give them that power. This is an important lesson to learn and remember as you move through Scorpio season. The Sun is in Scorpio now, and we’re entering the Dark of the Moon phase, moving to the Scorpio New Moon on Oct. 30, 2016 — which also marks Diwali — the ‘festival of lights.”

This is very primal, sexual and fertile energy. With Venus making a host of major aspects in the week leading up to the New Moon, relationships, creative, financial situations, and matters of the heart are highlighted; and there’s a suggestion of something rather profound and sweet, taking seed and blossoming deep in the shadows.

But still, just before the New Moon, on Oct. 29, 2016, Venus makes a conjunction to Saturn. Whatever 14803332_10153804457105706_2132798770_oyou’re attempting now is not easy to say the least. There might be difficult and harsh realities to face up to; bringing you to the end of the road with certain situations asking you to let go of that which is dying, before there can be renewal.

If you find yourself running into a wall — this is your chance to rise to the occasion, and get some perspective. There is a way forward; and the more you take responsibility for a situation you can find your authority, power and freedom within it.

I’ll have more to say about the skies and the Conference soon — but in the meanwhile, here is an Interview I did at ISAR, with Matt Savinar of Hexagon Astrology magazine. Hopefully there will be more to come, so stay tuned…

With love and blessings for a very prosperous Diwali season,

Priya

Finding Purpose… Life, the Aries Full Moon & ISAR 2016

Jupiter in Libra Consultation – 60 min – $108.00

Personal Astrology Consultations

Happy Dassera!

Today marks the tenth day of the Libra New Moon cycle that began on Sep. 30, 2016, marking the festival of Vijayadashmi or Dassera — a very auspicious day, symbolising the Goddess Durga’s victory over the demon Mahishasura. (A day of victory over inner demons, as we find balance.)

moonWe’re fast head to the Aries Full Moon on Oct. 16, 2016 at 12:23 AM EDT at 14+ Aries and the energy is peaking.

Among other aspects, this lunation is conjunct Uranus in Aries, opposite the Sun in Libra. Here’s what I wrote in my recent Libra New Moon report — sent out to subscribers couple of weeks ago:

“Situations continue to smolder, and heat up, reaching critical mass by the Aries Full Moon (ruled by Mars.) On Oct. 15, 2016, the Sun opposes Uranus, followed by the Aries Full Moon on Oct. 16, 2016 in conjunction to Uranus — expect the unexpected.

“You’re reaching a moment of truth. This could be pretty volatile and explosive energy; we’re likely to hear of big perhaps shocking developments, as truth is exposed. If you’ve been in denial, or avoiding taking necessary action — this could be a wake up call, as the bubble bursts. Act in awareness and this could be a major breakthrough.

“Mercury in Libra sextiles Saturn at the time of the Full Moon, suggesting you are not alone in a situation and help is close at hand. And be grateful for all you are learning — it is freeing you to enter and strengthen relationships that truly value you for you, where there is mutual love respect support, and that give back equally as much as you have to give them.”

Life has certainly been busy and full on this end with really happy moments, overwhelmingly sad and shocking ones, as well as life-changing ones — my first taste of Jupiter in my Solar 6th House — asking and teaching me to keep my balance and stay focused.

Over the past week I learned of extremely sudden, shocking, and disturbing, news that shook me to the core — making me question the purpose of life; reminding me of the extreme fragility and transience of this mortal existence, and just how precious these fleeting moments in the flesh are.

Nothing is a greater (astrology) teacher than life itself. As bitter-sweet as it is — life is not without purpose. But to truly live a meaningful life, it is up to us to find purpose in every little moment, action, word, thought, and deed. You have to trust the process.

On that note, tomorrow I fly to California for the ISAR 2016 Forecasting Symposium, where I will be giving my first talk on “Chiron: Finding Purpose.”

I am truly honoured to be speaking along with so many astrologers, whose work I respect and admire deeply. If you’re in California (or close,) and would like to attend, I would highly recommend it — it’s going to be four days of profound learning and fun. (Information on Day passes and Full Conference passes, is available at the website.)

Poignantly, the recent Libra New Moon occurred at 8+ Libra in antiscia to Chiron at 22+ Pisces. This, and the events of the past two weeks, have not been lost on me as I prepared for my talk — which is born out of 10 years of research on Chiron and how it can help us find our individual sense of purpose, without which life can become a torturous existence.

These past two weeks have felt like a intense crash course but I’m excited to share what I have learned, and I think it’s important to consider given the state of the world today. So if you cannot be there, I will let you know where you can get an audio of it later.

I will be at the conference at the time of the Full Moon, and I can only imagine it will be a blast. With Uranus, we can expect the unexpected and this could be a wild ride. There are shocking or at very least surprising developments unfolding, and the truth is coming to light — but you have options and it will set you free. Stay safe, be aware, keep calm, breathe and keep your balance — then there can be a true sense of a breakthrough.

Reach for the stars and you might just land on the Moon…

Love and blessings for a prosperous Dassera,

Priya

p.s.

A small request — If you can, please keep my friend’s mother and family in your prayers. Sending you love with the Moon tonight, Monika. RIP.

October Monthly Horoscopes 2016

Cosmic Diaries: October Monthly Horoscopes 2016

— by Priya Kale

Aries. Illustration by Arun Kale ARIES – October brings you a glimpse into life over the coming year with Jupiter passing through Libra your opposite sign. As you enter the month, you’re starting a new cycle in all your one-to-one relationships, especially one significant relationship — asking that you find a balance between your needs and others. The choices you make early in the month are setting in motion a chain of events that come to a head with the Full Moon, which brings unexpected developments. This is your chance to start off on the right foot so situations can flourish. Be honest with yourself and others — then there can be a sense of a breakthrough, rather than any unpleasant surprises. What do you want? How do you feel? What motivates you? You cannot make someone love you, or control another, or an outcome; but you choose where you feed energy and invest your time, money, love and resources. As Khalil Gibran wrote: “And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.” It comes down to honest communication and win-win arrangements. Ask for what you need and let go of expectations — then pay attention to who steps up to the plate. Professionally, your ambitions are evolving asking you to let go of those you’ve outgrown. There are new opportunities presenting themselves and changes on the horizon: perhaps a change of job or even a promotion. You needn’t justify your choices to anyone, nor do you need to uphold any “image.” Just be conscious not to chase false ideals of success or cut your nose to spite your face. A true leader is one who inspires support, while treating everyone as equals. Stay true to your integrity, and you can live life by your rules and come out on top, with partners cheering you every step of the way.

TAURUS – You have an incredible opportunity this month to start over as you create a whole new life, if that is what you wish for; or heal a situation or relationship that affects your whole life and well being, so you feel more supported by it. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but if you work at something daily, you can make huge strides this month towards finding a work-life balance. With planets stacked in your house of health, work, and daily routines — expect a busy month, so use your time wisely. Make sure you aren’t burning the candle at both ends; and schedule in down-time (if you have to) to play, smell the roses and be inspired. A relationship too is highlighted this month; and there are unpredictable developments unfolding mid-month, asking you to keep your perspective. You may not be sure how you feel about someone or something; or ready to reveal your feelings and deeper desires yet. Still it’s important now that become aware of and acknowledge your subconscious fears, desires, abandonment issues, what motivates you in your choices — as well as your needs for healing, peace and harmony. Ultimately there is only ONE relationship in your life that you need to be concerned about and that’s your relationship with your innermost self. Strengthen that, then you can make healthier choices as you create the life of your dreams. You needn’t fear being judged for your choices, and it’s important you not prematurely judge a situation that could hold solid potential. You may not be sure of the best way forward, and things may be up in the air; but take things one day at a time and allow the dust to settle. Be willing to learn and you will learn what you need to know, clearing the path for what’s real, true and fills your life with meaning, purpose, and love. You have one life — reach for the stars.

GEMINI — HUGE apologies for the delay!!
October marks the beginning of a year, and journey, of discovery of a deeper truth about your heart. You’re birthing something profound — you could be starting a new project, having a baby, falling in love (perhaps all over again) with someone, yourself and life itself. It might feel like a risk to be vulnerable, but as long as you are being honest with yourself, you needn’t fear losing your balance. Unexpected developments unfolding mid-month in a friendship, social situation or close personal relationship, bringing you to a moment of truth, pushing your boundaries asking you to trust. The more emotionally detached you can be, you can respond consciously in a balanced way. You’ve been burned before but, the present is not the past, and life is too short to waste living in fear. Stay in the present, and first be honest with yourself about your desires, fears, and what you want out of life, love, work, your relationships, and how you want to feel at the end of each day. You need not cling to anyone, anything, be anyone you are not, or worry about looking like a fool — those that love you, will love you anyway. And you have friends who would take a bullet for you if it came down to it. Trust, what falls apart needs to, so it can come back together in a way that is more balanced way — or clear the way for what is truly valuable. Also, when you give, do you give from the heart, or with expectations of what you will get back? You cannot control anyone else, you cannot make anyone love you, and you can’t always please everyone. Be kind, loving, fair, creative, let go of the need to be right and you can be happy. What you want and can have is the freedom to be and express yourself more wholly (emotionally, sexually, creatively, personally), rather than swinging to either extreme. Then you can deepen relationships that love you for you and you share values with. That really is the big lesson for you over the coming year — to discover your inner sense of wholeness. You’re sowing the seeds of love this month and what you set in motion now can only blossom and bloom over the coming year. Love yourself, even the parts you consider less desirable. You’re creating your life in every moment, with every choice, word and deed. Love and life, both come with risks. But the rewards far outweigh the gamble, nd you have everything to play for now.

Dear Friends,

We’re in the Dark of the Moon, moving to the Libra New Moon on Sept. 30, 2016.

In the meanwhile, as promised, here is a series of talks by my Guru, her holiness, Sri Amma Karunamayi, on the significance of the festival of Navratri — from a planetary perspective, and the energies that are activated within us, through this very potent nine-day phase of transformation each year. I will update this page as more videos are updated.

Also some very exciting news — I have a new (updated) website in the works and plan to have it up shortly after the Libra New Moon. It’s not perfect yet, (and will continue to be a work in progress,) but I figure this is the perfect time for a new beginning. SO stay tuned!

Love,

Priya

Love, Hate, Peace & Karma: Equinox, Mercury Direct, Jupiter in Libra | Navratri Web Series

Personal Astrology & Tarot Consultations

Pisces Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse, Sept. 16-30, 2016

Dear Friends,

Happy Equinox! Mercury is now direct, and the Sun entered Libra at 10:21 AM EDT on Sept. 22, 2016 marking the Equinox — a time of equal days and nights, as nature seeks its balance.

Art by Arun Kale. Copyright Arun Kale. The scales are tipping as we enter Libra season, and the next four weeks are bringing home the lessons of the coming year as we move through this transit of Jupiter in Libra — which I’m calling the ‘Great Equalizer.’

Libra’s symbol is the scales; it represents the truth, justice, peace, harmony, relationships and ‘Karma’ — the law of cause and effect — which operates on every level the physical to metaphysical.

When we study astrology, we’re studying planetary cycles from the view point of the earth. These are archetypal energies, alive within each human being, that we act and play out consciously or unconsciously on the material plane, in this great cosmic dance.

Every year, as the Sun passes through each sign making its way around the zodiac, it shines a spotlight on an area of our life on a personal, and collective level. This is the churning of the great cosmic ocean, within and around us. Asking that we move in awareness and remain centered, as we embody these lessons as part of our learning in this school of life; rather than feel tossed around by the eternal, karmic, ‘Wheel of Fortune.’

Yesterday, two more black men were shot to death at the hands of law enforcement for apparently no justified reason; which then led to peaceful and violent protests. I don’t usually comment on mundane events, but what’s happening now is indicative and reflective of the cosmic climate. In the face against those who abuse their power, it’s natural to feel powerless and want to revolt.

The Pluto-Uranus square since 2012 has brought these issues to the forefront. As Jupiter moves through Libra over the coming year, it squares Pluto, and opposes Uranus in Aries — equalising situations, one way or another. With Pluto at the helm of the T-square — change is here, but with awareness there can be a conscious deconstruction, rather than destruction.

You cannot control another, or a situation, but you can control your response, engagement or involvement. Even inaction is an action and you have the choice. It will call for serenity and wisdom, to change the things we can, accept what we cannot, and wisdom to know the difference. Ask yourself — peace, but at what cost?
