Dear Friends,
This is it. The final push. Mars stationed direct in Scorpio on June 29, 2016 and is currently making its final run through the the sign until Aug. 2, 2016, when it enters Sagittarius.
Mars first entered Scorpio and shadow back on February 18, 2016 — drawing you into a deeper surrender to the mystery of life. But really this story goes back to last year when Saturn was first moving over these degrees in August and September. And further back to the transit of Saturn in Scorpio from 2012-2015 — during which time Pluto and Uranus met in a series of squares, bringing huge wake-up calls; asking you to acknowledge reality no matter how difficult, so you can start to transform it.
As you move through this last week of Mars in Scorpio, this is a culmination of the lessons of the past four, if not thirty, years.
What are the patterns you do not wish to repeat? What have you learned? What are you clinging to? What do you need to let go of? What’s been the big lesson for you? How can you do things differently this time?
Significantly in a few hours Uranus stations retrograde in Aries at 5:06 PM EDT, July 29, 2016. With Uranus — the key phrase is “Expect the unexpected.”
There could be unexpected events, reversals, endings, new beginnings in the ashes of the past. Aries being the ruling sign of Mars at the end of Scorpio — this can be cutting of deep ties.
What unfolds over these coming days can feel extremely freeing or like a rude awakening, depending on your level of awareness or denial. Something is dying, as much as there is something new taking form, and rising from the ashes.
Acceptance and self-awareness are key. Change is here now — but it does not have to be painful, if you allow it to happen. Trust what’s falling away has served it’s purpose, or is evolving to meet you in its new form, as you evolve.
Scorpio is the sign that rules sex, intimacy, other peoples money, death, inheritances, transformation, power, control, desires, attachments to the material world. This is where energy merges on the deepest level, transforming into something new. Depending on where you have Scorpio in your chart, you’re likely to see these themes play out in that area of your life.
Situations are evolving; relationships, especially those where sex and money are involved are heating up. We’re entering a whole new playing field come August.
Venus is currently in Leo, Mars in Scorpio — both passionate signs, dealing with themes of sex and sexuality. Venus in Leo is about loving in the eternal now, Mars in Scorpio seeks a commitment that goes beyond death.
Love is unconditional. But relationships are a choice. If a situation seems to be a cause for drama, toxicity, a push and pull, manipulation, dishonesty — you have to ask yourself what keeps you hooked in a situation? It takes two to tango. What are your values and attachments, surrounding sex and money? What were your parents values?
No matter what dramas are being played out externally, there are deep profound, perhaps overwhelming, emotions below the surface — anger, pain, fear, frustration, desires sexual, material, attachments, addictions, abandonment issues etc. Be conscious of your motivations and in no denial of emotions, desires, fears, need to be in control, need and/or fear of intimacy, patterns and what’s welling up within you.
Let go of attachments to an outcome and address the issues arising honestly, courageously, with an open heart. You are not who you were a few weeks ago, let alone years ago. Feel what you feel, and release it. Stay in the present, then you can be moved to action: respond to situations consciously, rather than react unconsciously out of any sense of fear, panic or urgency.
These ties run deep and it could be easy to want to hold on to the very bitter end. We hold on for fear of losing that which we love; we seek to possess and control, often destroying the very thing we cherish rather than letting it go. Like the story of the little girl — who was given a pet bunny for her birthday. She was so happy and loved it so much. But she was so afraid it would run away that on the way home in the car she squeezed the bunny too tight, and killed it.
You can have the intimacy and passion you crave, as well as greater material security; but acknowledge the need to let go of power struggles and addiction to drama. You can’t really love another until you love yourself. And sometimes loving yourself, means walking way from toxic situations or patterns, in acceptance that you cannot heal or change someone else — only yourself.
Remember everything changes — things change, people change, people die. Allow and create space for yourself, another and something to heal and evolve. The less you try to control or cling or hold on to expectations — the less will be the feeling of being shocked, and greater will be your experience of liberation, awakening and resurrection.
What’s real will still be waiting for you on the other side. Allowing you to deepen intimacy in relationships that truly align with your values and allow love to blossom — not just within your relationships, but at the source, in your heart. This is an inner awakening allowing you recognise the impermanence of life, as you pierce through the veil of illusion to experience an unchanging reality.
((On a global front, especially with the elections here in the U.S. — although politics is something that I personally consciously steer away from, I feel compelled to say — get out and vote. You have that power. Change is happening but if you don’t use your power, you lose your power.))

Mars enters Sagittarius on August 2, 2016, moves out of shadow on August 22, 2016 and will conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius on August 24, 2016 — which marks a red-letter day. This is a milestone marking the end and beginning of a two to thirty year cycle.
Look back to see how far you’ve come from the last Mars-Saturn conjunction (in Scorpio) which occurred in August 2014. You’ve been on a long journey these past few years and months with Mars retrograde cycle. Now comes a test of integrity, asking you to embody the truth and wisdom of your experiences as you journey forward.
Sagittarius is the sign of hope, perspective, of God, spirituality and even religion. As Mars and Saturn meet in Sagittarius, we are being reminded — it isn’t enough to know the path, you have to walk it.
The journey of a life-time begins with a single step. Push through your fear, and you can move beyond your limitations to discover new horizons beckoning. This is not the end of the world, or your journey — but just the beginning. Where are you now? Where would you like to be — in two years? five years? What do you need to clear up and put behind you before you can truly move forward towards your long-term goals?

As Mars leaves Scorpio — situations are coming to a boil. Address what’s surfacing and deal with it head on. Then you won’t feel like you’re crashing into a wall, and it will be easier to get over the hump as Mars and Saturn meet later in August. Be humble and honest with yourself above all, and the road will rise to meet you.
Recognise, the world is what it is and life is happening. You are the observer, not the doer. Mars is about about “being,” rather than “doing.” At it’s essence Scorpio represents ego death; asking for a total surrender so there can be transformation. You cannot control anyone but yourself. Really, it would help to realise we don’t really have any control. We don’t control when we are born, we don’t control when we die, and only have the illusion of control in between.
Trust, what’s unfolding is ultimately part of a greater divine cosmic plan. Even if it isn’t visible to you, you are as much a part of the Universe as the planets. And the planets suggest, as you move through these final days of Mars in Scorpio, with Uranus about to station retrograde, this is a profound chance for transformation and breakthrough of patterns that have held you in their grip.
Be present yet detached. Let go and let God. In a total surrender, there can be profound healing, liberation, resurrection, awakening and an experience of the only thing that is real and indestructible — love. And love liberates.
“I am grateful to have been loved and to be loved now and to be able to love, because that liberates. Love liberates. It doesn’t just hold—that’s ego. Love liberates. It doesn’t bind. Love says, ‘I love you. I love you if you’re in China. I love you if you’re across town. I love you if you’re in Harlem. I love you. I would like to be near you. I’d like to have your arms around me. I’d like to hear your voice in my ear. But that’s not possible now, so I love you. Go.’” ~ Maya Angelou
With Love,
Priya

Also, as you may have noticed, I haven’t written much on the Blog lately. I’ve been working behind the scenes on a new website which hopefully I will have up soon after the Leo New Moon. It will I am sure continue to be a work in progress but I’m excited for the change which has been a long time coming.
Besides, that and Consultations, I have been spending more time in meditation and silence. With Saturn moving through Scorpio, the past few years, and Mars moving over my Ascendant three times during this transit, I have changed. And as I change, my work is changing, so more on that soon. But I’m also learning what remains constant is my love for this eternal mystery of life and the planets, and my gratitude to be able share this journey with you. So thank you as always.
