Sooo… Had any light-bulb moments lately? They haven’t stopped on this end and I’m contemplating sleeping with shades on tonight. If I fall asleep that is. With the Full Moon peaking tomorrow, it’s debatable.

As predicted, the energy over the past week has been action-packed and Jupiter in Leo is certainly heightening the sense of drama and adventure. And you can expect this to continue and heighten as the Moon grows Full and this energy spills over the next few days and two weeks.

The Moon entered Aquarius Saturday morning at 9:51 AM and the Aquarius Full Moon occurs on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014 at 2:09 PM EDT.

[I wrote this Blog late Friday night with Mercury separating in conjunction from the Sun, both planets also trined Uranus in Aries, Mercury squared Saturn yesterday, and the Sun is approaching a square to Saturn in just a few minutes.]

At the time of the Full Moon: the Sun is in Leo the sign of the “Self”, the Moon in Aquarius, the sign of the “collective and we have Saturn in Scorpio in the middle at the apex of a T-square squaring the Sun and Moon, marking the focal point of the lunation. And Saturn now is asking for a conscious evolution, if you want to thrive, rather than just survive under this climate.

Take it from someone who lives with Saturn in the 10th House, at the apex of a T-square, this is not an easy aspect, but the rewards, far outweigh the challenges. Above all this is an aspect that “helps” (although it may feel like a wagging finger, or worse,) you find life purpose.

Personally, Leo is my solar 4th House and Natal 10th House. And the days since the Leo New Moon have come with deep revelations about my life, work, where I’ve come from, where I’m headed and most importantly where I am today. (More on that below.)

I’ve also had more at-home Consultations than I usual. Yesterday, I spontaneously rearranged the furniture and love how cozy it feels in here. That and of course I’m enjoying the gentle warmth of summer days. Also, I’ve found myself reminiscing fondly on my childhood. A time when I was, often “accused” of being, “happy-go-lucky” (as if that was a bad thing.) But there was a knowing even then, of what my study of astrology has confirmed to me since…

I have Leo on my Mid-Heaven, the part of me/my chart that is most “publicly” visible. With Saturn in Leo at the top of my chart in a Grand Fire Trine, as well as a T-square. So, although I always feel the pressure of Saturn, holding me to my highest integrity, to my best self; people do not necessarily see that inner struggle; they only see the sunny Leo at the Midheaven.

This is the quality of Leo, it shines on, even when the world around seems to be falling apart. Because life is eternal and only love is constant and real. A square calls for an inner resolution. Any obstacle you face or perceive now, is an inner one — a call to integrity, asking to you have courage and stand up for yourself.

The current energy surrounding this Aquarius Full Moon is like the necessary struggle of the butterfly, as it breaks out of its cocoon. The struggle it goes through, strengthens its wings, without which it would be unable to unfurl them and have the strength it needs to fly.

Only you can change your life, no one can do it for you. Saturn in Scorpio is calling for self-mastery and self-control. And also this is a conscious breaking down of parental conditioning, to find your authority in your life and start to take responsibility for it.

Recognize your role in the creation of the past, learn from it, but release attachment to it — pain or pleasure — only then you can tap into the energy of the Sun’s trine to Uranus, offering you freedom to live authentically, be true yourself and who you are today. Then you can seize the opportunities, now.

This is also a Full Moon and T-square in fixed signs, so you can expect this to move big, heavy, “stuck,” energy. There are big shifts taking place, physical changes, moves — perhaps echoing themes that surfaced back in 1999 or then 2002.

Also, at the time of a T-square, the sign with the missing planet is where we can get respite and a point of balance with this energy. In this case, Taurus is the sign opposite Saturn in Scorpio, the sign with the “missing” planet, that would otherwise complete the Fixed Grand Cross with Leo and Aquarius.

Taurus asks for humility, hard work and patience. No matter how urgent something seems, you need not act in a panic or haste. Be in the present, take your time, and you can find a solution that truly works and lasts — not just temporarily in the moment.

So over the coming days, if it feels like the pressure is too much — remember to take a breath and find comfort in the ground beneath your feet. Literally. Bring yourself back to the moment. Pick up something in front of you. Look at it. Touch it. Feel it. Breathe. Come back to your body. Then you can allow yourself to be moved again to take conscious action where you need to, in the moment.

And what is life other than a series of moments, each bleeding into the next? Your whole life has, led up to this very moment, made who you are today. The past need not harden you or jade you. And whatever seems like a struggle right now — this is a necessary challenge, one you were born for and are capable of rising up to, without which you would not know what you are capable of. And the only way out of this is through it.

We’re at a turning point, individually and collectively. A best this is inner turning point, or then it may be external circumstances asking you to find inner confidence, strength and dig deep for your integrity. But once you do – as with Sun in a trine to Uranus the ruler of Aquarius, there’s likely to be breakthroughs and major revelations. Let go of expectations you can be pleasantly surprised with what unfolds, showing you the open road ahead.

Again look at the butterfly, after having broken out of its cocoon, it is dead to the past. Yet fully transformed alive and free to fly and live its transient, fleeting, life smelling the flowers — simply “being” “free.” And although its easier said than done, all you need to do right now is free yourself to be yourself.

Don’t be afraid to let go of pride, lower defenses or walls that prevent you from asking or accepting the support you need. But also don’t be afraid to stand your ground where need be, even if it separates you from the crowd. As long as your feet are on the ground — you need not fear your own light and power.

Two days after the Full Moon, Venus changes signs from Cancer to Leo, adding to the Leo energy in the sky. And the Virgo New Moon in two weeks, the same day as the Mars-Saturn conjunction on Aug. 26, 2014 — a red letter day — marks a major threshold taking us to the end and beginning of a new chapter personally and globally.

And there are major aspects unfolding between now and then, so expect this to be a busy time. You can read more about the aspects between now and then in the August Monthly report. But have faith, whatever unfolds is allowing you to consciously wipe the slate clean so something new can take seed.

(It’s also my first time speaking in public, that too in front of a bunch of astrologers, so you may just get to see me make a royal fool of myself. And who wants to miss that? Ha! ;))

Also, I’m also currently planning to be at the ISAR Conference at the end of September in Arizona. Of course this requires funds for — conference fees, hotel, travel, food etc. which I currently do not have the budget for. But I am also determined to make it happen, and I would be grateful for and request any donations that you are in a position to or feel led to make — however small.

With the Sun and Moon in my Solar and Natal 4th and 10th, I’ve also been reflecting on my work and how I can serve you better so you get the results you need.

This is my life’s work, not a business. But I also recognize, that somewhere along the way, I did what all of us do at some point, which is start to adjust to the way “things are done,” rather than doing them “my way.”

I have Scorpio Rising and I’ve had my share of dark nights of the soul. But Astrology has been that unwavering “light,” I’ve always been able to turn to for guidance and perspective showing me the higher lesson, in any given moment, my soul is here to learn.

I can tell you astrology works, because I’ve seen it work in my life. But this didn’t come just from reading astrology books, or “knowing” the future — but applying the astrology to my life, “doing the work” to shift and re-balance energy, climb out of the darkness, to return to myself and find peace.

I enjoy writing — but I also have seen the real work happen in Consultations, where I can offer you my best — one-on-one, looking specifically at your chart. (My Sun is conjunct the Descendant, in the 6th House.) Looking at your chart, I’m best able to help you shift, re-balance your energy and give you the tools you need.

I am also aware many who could use a Consultation, are most often in a place where they feel unable to afford it or hold back for many reasons.

To you I would say, what I have said to myself to shift myself out of a pattern — what is the long-term impact of something on my life, or of not seeking help when I could use it?

What is the cost of working a dead-end job you don’t care for, repeating patterns in relationships, general dissatisfaction, suffering and or being unable to live an authentic life?

If you seek a Consultation with me, this is not just a reading where I predict your future or if things will be “good” or “bad”. Sure, I have clients who tell me I have successfully predicted events.

But more importantly, what I live for is that moment in a consultation when “information and energy comes through” and suddenly the whole energy shifts, physically, palpably. My Scorpio Ascendant (my clients will agree,) allows me to penetrate into your darker subconscious spaces, something that I can best do working one-on-one with you and your chart.

But I started my work as an Astrologer, with one prayer that I still hold in my heart today — “God, let this work reach and help those who need it most.” And with Saturn currently moving over my Ascendant, I feel the call more strongly than ever.

So I return to this prayer today as I make two changes to the way I do my Consultations:

1. I have recently decided to increase my regular Consultation fees for all new clients (in effect immediately) and for returning clients, starting the Virgo New Moon on Aug. 26, 2014, so I can offer you more value for our time together.

2. At the same time — I will be doing a certain number of Donation based Consultations each week for those who cannot currently afford a full price session in an aim to assist as many as need it. (First preference will be given to subscribers of the Cosmic Diaries paid member service.)

I’m hoping that the increase in fees, will offset the fees for those who could use a reading and cannot under the current circumstances afford one.

But although there is NO MINIMUM amount on a donation — these are not necessarily “free” Consultations. I ask you be fair, so I can continue to do this for others who may need it.

I cannot guarantee on how long it might take to schedule, depending on how many people are before you but as of now I am open and will start scheduling on Monday.

One more thing before I go — As a Taurus, I’m aware money, or the lack of it, has little to do with “suffering” or happiness. You could have nothing and be perfectly content, and you could have all the riches in the world – yet be totally miserable. As a Taurus I also know when we invest into something with our hard earned money, we value it. We commit and show up to do the work.
