So its been an interesting few days to say the least. This morning I was woken up by my parents to the sound of fire alarms going off because there was a fire in the building. It was an electrical fire that blew up the gas stove in the kitchen directly above where I sleep. Luckily no one was hurt and they managed to put it out in time before it spread outside but it was pretty surreal nonetheless…

With the Sun conjunct Uranus, this was one of those classic unexpected glaringly obvious manifestations of the energy. For personal reasons as well as astrological ones, I know there are no coincidences and it did mange to bring me a deep realization. Hopefully you’ve been surfing the tide of surprises that have washed up at your door.

Some of what has happened has likely been more shocking rather than surprising. Now the Moon is in Scorpio taking us through the darker waters of the soul for purging and letting go. Be willing to confront your own darker emotions as you walk towards the light. It is only in accepting our shadows can we transcend to the higher realms of the phoenix. Also today Mars is in the last degree of Aquarius and forms a close semi-square to Venus. If we are not careful we could end up projecting these emotions onto our relationships. Yet there is a burning truth surfacing that we would do well to examine through the filter of the heart.

Financially as well as in intimate or personal relationships this is the final stretch of a long process that may have had you in a ring of fire for a while. But now as Mars enters Pisces we can expect things to get a lot smoother although its important you aren’t deluding yourself about anything. This can be a hugely creative force allowing us to channel higher inspiration now if we move with the sweeping tide.
