“Most of the time
My head is on straight
Most of the time
I’m strong enough not to hate
I don’t build up illusion ’til it makes me sick
I ain’t afraid of confusion no matter how thick
I can smile in the face of mankind
Don’t even remember what her lips felt like on mine
Most of the time”

We’re heading into the Gemini New Moon and Solar Eclipse, exact at 9:06 PM UT on June 1, 2011.
As Eclipses go, this one in Gemini can be a real brain-twister to put it politely and mildly. (Something I have to admit I’ve had a hard time to doing lately — controlling my mind and tongue! This Eclipse is conjunct my Jupiter in my 8th house.)
But the Eclipse is a reminder that one who is centered in himself or herself, is able to have clarity enough to deflect others’ or his or her own mental projections and not own, identify with or be a slave to them and open him or herself to truth.
This one is ushering us into a rare Eclipse season with three Eclipses back to back, suggesting a rapid change and turn of events. June will enter us into a period of negotiation and July asks us to take a jump.
Below are a few passages on aspects and energy surrounding this Eclipse — including Ceres’ powerful square to the Lunar Nodes this month marking a turn in collective destiny.
Also as an after thought to what came to me earlier at the time of writing the report below: The Ceres aspect this may relate not only to the food and world hunger crisis. But given the recent disaster in Japan I think it is hugely imperative that we start caring more for the ocean and sea life, or it is due to become a sea of lethal poison that quite literally knows no bounds. And I hope that coming Eclipses will shed a light on the extreme importance of this issue.
As you begin this cycle no matter how divided you feel, try to stay centered and open to a greater truth coming through. There may be a sense of walking on the extreme edge, feeling like one wrong move and you could be hurtling into an abyss. But there is more stability here than anything you’re seeing the dark side of. And any efforts to communicate, negotiate and bring peace to a situation will not be in vain.
We are learning precious truth. But rather than anything external this has more to do with quietening down long enough to listening to that inner voice that often speaks in silent whispers…

“The houses in your chart represented by Gemini and Sagittarius, represent the areas in your life where you will see the greatest shifts occurring. This transition will complete around mid-2012 once the Nodes shift from Sagittarius-Gemini. As you enter the New Moon and Eclipse on June 1, 2011 let go of perception and go inward to clear your mind of destructive thoughts.
“There is a sense of having to wipe the slate clean – perhaps with choices and decisions we have only recently made. But this is a gift and the planets are offering us a fresh start asking us to re-write rules and choose in the present based on the information and truth we are now learning. Success in relationships, both business and personal will depend on our ability to communicate and negotiate.”
“This is a greater story emerging, which first began to unfold around Dec. 21, 2010 (the first of this series of Eclipses in Gemini-Sagittarius) when a Full Moon in Gemini brought hugely important revelations to light and marking the end of a chapter.
“But an end is always a beginning and now six months later we are at the beginning of a new chapter that can usher in peace, stability and harmony. It also forms an exact trine to Saturn (currently retrograde/stationary about to station direct) in Libra bringing is a solid aspect for a new start within relationships. We can choose to let go of the past and start over, but there can be no half-hearted effort.

“One of the most important aspects occurs as Ceres in Pisces forms a potent square to the North Node during these Eclipses. Any planet that squares the Nodes marks the resolution point for individual and collective destiny. Ceres is the asteroid that relates with nourishment and food. World hunger is a very real concern that seems to conveniently slip away unnoticed in the face of the more dramatic issues and the wars we are busy waging. With Jupiter entering Taurus, there is no need for starvation to continue to be a cause of death in this world.
“There is enough food on this planet for those who are hungry to have two meals a day. But nothing will happen unless this becomes a priority and we use our energy to effectively distribute resources to those in need. Hopefully these Eclipses will mark a shift in global consciousness where we begin to use direct our attention towards this life and death issue.”
“Also on a symbolic level look at what you are feeding into this cycle or a situation. Only through love and compassion can there be healing. Withholding one’s energy, bliss or love only brings greater pain. Ceres was the goddess that even brought Pluto to his knees, and the whole world went into darkness, there was no life, nothing grew until Pluto returned Persephone to her mother. This is Universal energy, love and compassion that need to be shared or it can be a dark night of the soul for everyone.”
