Remember to Breathe…: Aquarius New Moon and Mars Retrograde

Dear Friends,

We are now in the Dark of the Moon moving towards a rather powerful Aquarius New Moon (exact at 2+ Aquarius on Jan. 23, 2012 at 2:39 AM EST.)

As the Moon disappears in the sky now, there is a sense now of being pushed over the edge with little to hold on to other than our breath… But that is realm of Aquarius which takes us beyond the boundaries of the known, into the unknown.

Also Mars is stationary at the time of this New Moon and stations retrograde shortly (hours) after. As much as we are moving forward there may be a sense of our best laid plans going awry, asking us to caste our fate to the wind.

Rather than “shoulding” all over yourself or do something simply out of obligation, be fueled by inspiration and respond to an inner call of duty. We are not stuck by any means although it may feel that way with Mars stationary. But move inward now to find the self-acceptance you need. Once we enter the New Moon cycle and Mars starts to move again, we can reconsider our options and find the liberation we seek.

This New Moon and the aspects surrounding it suggest to me — only when we feel free enough to be ourselves and accept our unique gifts can we be of any real service to the community and others.
