Online One-Day Beginner’s Astrology Workshop

This one day workshop explores the basic essential components that make up the chart (houses, signs and planets,) how they tie in together and operate as a whole.
This workshop is ideal whether you have no experience with astrology, you’re self-taught and would like to have some structure to your knowledge, gain deeper insight and or learn practical application.
The workshop will be divided into four basic parts:
Part 1: The Houses
We’ll explore the 12 Houses that make up the Astrology wheel. Learn how each House represents a specific area of your life — self, money, love, family, career, etc.
Part 2: The Signs
We’ll dive into the 12 Sun signs, to discover their essence. Learn about the elements and modalities of each sign, how you experience them in your life and chart.
Part 3: The Planets:
We’ll learn about the planets, their mythology, how they symbolize aspects of you and how you can harness their energy.
Summary: The Chart
We’ll dive into the chart as a whole, using your chart/s as an example, layering the different basic elements (houses, signs, planets) to start painting a picture and make basic interpretations.

Course Overview
Next course begins in March 2014 (Online)
— Classes will be conducted online, with additional basic written materials. All classes will be recorded as an audio file.
–Working through four levels, we move from beginner’s to advanced level astrology through classes, assignments and supervised practice.
— You can enter the program at any level (depending on your prior knowledge or training). The course is designed to give you a practical grounding in the theory, art, science and application of Astrology, especially as a tool for self-awareness.
— Each Level includes two hour class, once a week online or in person. Workshops run for 8 hours.
— This course is designed to make it easy for you to start at the level you feel comfortable with. The entire course is a duration of 6 months, split into 4 Levels of six weekly sessions per Level.
— The course will be conducted online, with additional basic written materials. All classes will be recorded as an audio file.
Each Level is limited to 8-10 students to ensure that I’m able to give you enough one-on-one, individual interaction, so please enroll early.

Your first 3 months of training provides skills towards birth chart interpretation, using your chart as an example. Each level is 6 weeks, with two hour classes online weekly and practical homework assignments, teaching you the practical application of astrology and integrating it into your life.
Level 1 – Houses, Elements, Signs, Modalities, Polarity
Level 2 – Planets, Moon Phases, Aspects, Dignities

*Pre-requisite – Level 1 & 2, or a basic understanding of the elements of a chart.

Your next 3 months of study will teach practical application of techniques, forecasting and application.
Level 3 – Transits (including Chiron,) working with lunations (New Moons and Full Moons.)
Level 4 – Progressions, Relationship Astrology, Composite Charts and Relationship Synastry Techniques.
