Happy Diwali! Scorpio New Moon, Nov. 13-27, 2023
Happy Diwali dear friends,
We’re in a very auspicious Diwali season, moving to a liberating Scorpio New Moon on November 13, 2023, opposite Uranus.
Pay attention to the area of your life ruled by Scorpio. This lunation opposes revolutionary Uranus, and currently, Mars the ruler of Scorpio is opposite Uranus. It’s easy to relate to the Sabian Symbol for the lunation, given the state of world affairs. But to me, this suggests there is hope — collectively and personally.
(SCORPIO 21°): OBEYING HIS CONSCIENCE, A SOLDIER RESISTS ORDERS.
KEYNOTE: A readiness to face the results of a refusal to follow the authoritarian patterns of an aggressive society.
As a person finds himself involved in activities which are traditional in his particular culture — and in many instances in all societies at this stage of human evolution — he often faces a conflict between his own individual sense of value (his conscience) and the demands of society. The conflict may be most typical in terms of the armed services — thus this symbol. In it we find the individual asserting his own values, though he cannot escape the consequences of his decision. In such a case he has to be quietly ready to face these consequences, whatever the cost.
This is the first stage in the forty-seventh five-fold sequence of phases in the great cyclic ritual of activity. The issue it presents is clear. Society in this situation seems to be all-powerful; yet the individual need not be spiritually bound, even if imprisoned. He still can display INNER FREEDOM and prove himself an “individual.”

There are unpredictable, unexpected developments and powerful breakthroughs on the way. There’s something thing breathtakingly beautiful resurrecting in the ashes of the past. Whatever unfolds remains detached. Life, relationships, and finances are evolving powerfully, and leveling up.
With the New Moon in Scorpio, we’re reconnecting with the primal indestructible life source within. As move through the Dark Moon phase, consciously release baggage, the past, and clear clutter — — emotionally, mentally, physically. We’re shedding skin, reclaiming freedom and power to live life by our rules.
Consciously let go of your attachments to the material world. This doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy material pleasures, but just that we don’t allow them to have power over us. Life, Money, sex, and relationships change form and shape — the soul is immortal and the love we’ve shared is eternal.
Life can change in the blink of an eye. But whatever unfolds — you were born for this, and you can rise to a challenge.
Scorpio speaks of change, transformation, and metamorphosis. It also speaks of control and a process of surrender. We can’t change anything outside ourselves. Change always comes from the inside out. This lunation is a process of inner alchemy and the process of ego death, revealing the gold and immortal soul within.
Let go. Cling to no one and nothing. Then you can emerge from this lunation, truly sovereign. As you enter this new cycle — do not underestimate your power to direct or re-direct the course of your destiny. But with that power comes responsibility. Self-awareness is needed.
Soon after the Scorpio New Moon, the Sun and Mars meet in a powerful cazimi in November, before entering Sagittarius. We’re on a journey, turning a corner, into a whole new world with breathtaking views. Buckle up, surrender, and enjoy the ride.
Here is this week’s free COSMIC DIARIES NOV 10-18, audio podcast for a more in-depth interpretation . One thing I forgot to mention, with the Sun-Mars conjunction, be extra careful — there is a tendency to be accident-prone, especially around water.

Till next time, I wish you a very Happy Diwali and a joyous, prosperous New Year!
Love,
Priya
