Dear Friends,

Saturn’s in Libra, Chiron is back in Aquarius, and the Sun is in Leo as we move toward the Aquarius Full Moon on July 25th in NYC and July 26th in the UK and Australia.

Now that Saturn is in Libra, expect a real change in relationships. And when I say real, I mean real. Saturn is all about reality. The reality we have to deal with and that which we don’t want to. Libra’s symbol, the scales, symbolizes the divine balance of the Universe, Karma and indeed, relationships.

With Jupiter and Uranus in Aries, we are prone to and being moved to action. Saturn in Libra is tempering this energy with the reminder that there are consequences to our actions. Or, as Newton’s third law of “physical” motion states, “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.”

Interestingly, Saturn represents physical, material and structural energy. According to Wikipedia, “Newton’s laws of motion are three physical laws that form the basis for classical mechanics. They describe the relationship between the forces acting on a body and its motion due to those forces.”

Whether the force is physical, emotional (liquid), or ethereal/spiritual/mental (gas), the law remains the same. In the case of the ‘mechanics’ of relationships, we are learning lessons about what works and what doesn’t. Saturn in Libra can cement a relationship or create boundaries, depending on what is needed.

One way or the other, balance will be achieved; justice will be done – this is the promise.

This is a two-year transit of Saturn in Libra. As we approach the Saturn–Uranus opposition in Libra and Aries, we are restoring crucial balance. Uranus in Aries is asking us to push through personal boundaries. Saturn in Libra asks that we strengthen our relationships with ourselves primarily so that, knowing our boundaries, we can be better partners, lovers, parents, friends and children.

Currently the Moon is in Capricorn and approaching a conjunction to Pluto. By the time of the Full Moon in Aquarius, much more will be revealed. Also, on the day of the Full Moon, the Cardinal T-square aligns, bringing us to a profound turning point. Jupiter (now retrograde) squares Pluto as Saturn in Libra opposes Uranus in Aries.

We can surely expect fireworks. Only there is a tricky Mercury-Neptune opposition to watch for. All may not be as it seems, so don’t be too quick to jump to hasty conclusions.

No doubt there are urgent situations to tackle. But given the fact that Jupiter trines the Sun and sextiles the Full Moon, there is just as much hope, benevolence and opportunity, as much as we have the courage and faith to believe in as we meet these challenges.
