Gemini Full Moon: Nov 27 – Dec 12, 2023

Dear Friends,

Happy Thanksgiving and Sagittarius season!

On November 27, at 4:17 AM ET, the Full Moon aligned in Gemini bringing us to an important cross-road in our life’s journey.

With the Full Moon in Gemini – we may be feeling divided between the head and heart. But notably — all planets currently answer to Venus in Libra, suggesting the heart holds the answer and key. Listen. Whatever the question, love is the answer.

The scenery is rapidly changing, drawing us out of our comfort zone to explore new territory. Over the coming weeks, there are profound truths, insights, revelations, and conversations coming through. Life presents us with choices, but avoid going to extremes. Duality is an illusion. Separation exists in the mind. Clarify a vision, and choose the middle path. Make time for self-reflection, silence, meditation, and be honest with yourself above all. Then it will be easier to make wise, conscious choices, and have heartfelt conversations moving forward.

Gemini is the sign of duality, the mind, ideas, beliefs, all forms of communication, and transportation. The Full Moon is highlighting these themes, especially in the area of your life ruled by Gemini. We’re in the waning cycle of the Moon — over the next two weeks, keep an open mind. Consciously release beliefs, ideas, assumptions, what you think you know, or how you think things should be. Then you can discover and be revealed a deeper truth, allowing for informed decisions.

This Gemini Full Moon forms a T-square with Mars and Saturn, suggesting a need for discernment. There’s a need for awareness of our limits, but also of our freedom to make choices that work for us. The house in your chart ruled by Virgo, offers the outlet and is where you can balance this pressure. Something might seem like a tall order, but there’s a sweeter simpler way. Be willing to ask for help if you need it. Life is upgrading and hopefully, we’re growing in wisdom, compassion, maturity, and sensitivity. Realign with your inner compass, truth, and wisdom, then you can navigate with awareness.

With the Full Moon in Gemini —we’re learning to communicate our needs and feelings, honestly. Whether in business or personal relationships — everything is negotiable. There is a way forward that works for all. Make time for self-reflection, be brutally honest with yourself, and seek perspective. Then it will be easier to find common ground with others — unless everyone wins, everyone loses.

Mercury planet of communication and the ruler of Gemini, is now in the shadow phase. It stations retrograde on December 13, and stations direct on till January 4. At the lunation, Mercury (ruler of Gemini) made the first (of three) squares to Neptune at this lunation. Mercury will make two more squares to Neptune on December 27 and January 8.

At its depth, this is a process of tuning into our soul’s calling, and learning to listen to our inner voice. On the surface — the conversations, and situations we’re dealing with now are part of a larger story unfolding until January 2024. There are important insights, information, conversations, and revelations coming through. Be patient with the process of discovery and avoid thinking you know it all.

This situation has many moving parts. With Mercury in Sagittarius —stay focused on the target, and big picture, and be true to your values. Then you can learn what you need to know discover a deeper, greater truth, and make wise choices moving ahead.

Interestingly, Venus was at 21+ Libra at this lunation and triggered the October 14, Libra Solar Eclipse degree. What was seeded then is now slowly blossoming. Venus meets the South Node on November 29, before she enters Scorpio on December 4. This suggests a deep release of past (outgrown) patterns surrounding relationships, money, and our values; so we can make conscious creative choices moving ahead.

Our relationships, finances, contracts, creativity, and all matters of the heart are in focus. Love reigns supreme. In relationships, there is a need for patience, kindness, honesty, temperance, and freedom. If we can choose and communicate from the heart we can strike the right balance. Freedom is key to strengthening bonds that go the distance and the test of time.

Once Venus enters Scorpio on December 4, the energy shifts. Then Venus is ruled by Mars, while Mars is in Jupiter’s sign, and Jupiter is in Venus’s sign. That feels like going around in circles with something. If it feels like you’re caught in some endless (unpleasant) cycle —it will require a conscious redirecting of thoughts, and making conscious choices. If you’re enjoying this energy, by all means, go sink into it. No two moments are alike, because the planets are always moving. There are endless pleasures, treasures, and adventures to be discovered — showing us a brighter side to life.

Relationships are a choice. This is echoed by both Venus and the full Moon in Gemini. With the Sun (and Mars) in Sagittarius, Connections rooted in freedom and honesty, rather than any sense of obligation have the potential to go the distance. Beware of being judgmental — life isn’t black and white, and neither are people. You are creating your reality with your mind’s eye. Choose and create awareness.

We’re in Sagittarius season, moving to the Sagittarius New Moon in two weeks on December 12, drawing us on a new journey of discovery. Jupiter the ruler of Sagittarius is currently in Venus’ sign. Jupiter will station direct on December 31, at Taurus 5+ triggering the degree of the Taurus Eclipse on October 28, bringing a vision to life.

Sagittarius is a visionary sign. Now more than ever, you are creating your reality with your mind’s eye with your thoughts, words, and choices. As you move forward from this Full Moon — clarify a vision and keep your eyes on the prize. However the road winds, Sagittarius season reminds us the real journey is the inner one. My Guru says, the eyes that see the good in others [and the world], and eyes that see bad [find fault] are bad eyes.

Beauty and the beast lie in the eye of the beholder. What are you envisioning? Where are you going? What are you leaving behind? What are you taking with you? Who is going with you? Be true to yourself above all.

TAURUS SUN & RISING HOROSCOPES, JUNE 2023

Anais Nin famously said, “Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage” and these are words for you to live by this month. Life is changing dramatically, profoundly, and powerfully, asking you to find your inner confidence. Your world is expanding and you have a lot to offer the world. Value yourself and allow space for a process of transformation in your relationships. A professional situation too is evolving. Now that you’ve seen the potential within you and it, re-evaluate your life goals, and vision as you explore the expansion opportunities. Financially and emotionally there’s gold to be mined. A close relationship is deepening to offer you more of the security you desire. Be true to your values and have more faith in yourself then you can negotiate win-win arrangements. Something you’ve hoped, dreamed, and wished for is within reach. Doors that were closed are opening. You have a lot to offer your community and may even be reconnecting with friends and partners. You’re not who you used to be, you’ve grown in wisdom and self-awareness. Confront the past honestly, but stay in the present. You can have what you want, but it starts be honest with yourself first. Then you can communicate honestly with others and reach a real breakthrough. Above all have more faith in yourself, and in the Universe — who is always listening and knows what you need without you having to ask. Life is a journey; wherever you go this month, be philosophical and go with all your heart.

New Video: Venus-Saturn conjunction and Neptune Direct station

Dear Friends,

The Moon is in Leo as I write this, reaching a square to the Scorpio Sun marking the Last Quarter phase; bringing us half-way between the Taurus Full Moon and Sagittarius New Moon a week from now.

by Marc Chagall.Last night, Venus made a conjunction to Saturn, ushering us over a major threshold in relationships, financial and creative situations; asking us to recognize and reclaim our power to create the change we need.

Also, you’ve probably noticed, the energy is particularly dreamy and spacey lately. Neptune is currently stationary, preparing to station direct in Pisces on Nov. 16, 2014.

Neptune is the higher octave of Venus — a higher love. And the current conjunction and direct station of these two planets holds a deep message for all our relationships, financial as well as creative situations for at least the coming year, if not thirty.

Here’s a video covering the aspects. (Apologies for the slight abrupt edit in the beginning and slight Neptunian ramble.)

Also, we’re entering the waning Moon phase towards the Sagittarius New Moon on Nov. 23, 2014 at 0+ degrees. Between now and then besides Neptune’s direct station, Mercury and Venus change signs.

As the Sun makes it’s way through the final days of Scorpio, use the energy to release as much baggage as you can, physically, emotionally so you can take flight with the new cycle.

For a more detailed interpretation of these and other aspects between now and the end of the month, you can sign up here for a one week free trial and receive the November monthly astrology report and horoscopes in your email.

As bitter-sweet as reality may be, you’ve passed a point of no return. And as much as there may have been a sense of having fallen from grace, here comes resurrection.

You’re staring at something with pure, fertile, infinite, creative potential. Seek clarity and have faith the details will fall into place.

What dream do you want to resurrect and or bring to life?

Love,

Priya

Dear Friends,

It’s Friday night, Venus is approaching a conjunction to Neptune in Pisces in a little over an hour from the time of my posting this at 10:23 PM EDT, Apr. 11, 2014. Venus is exalted in Pisces, and in conjunction to Neptune, ruler of Pisces, in Pisces.

This is the stuff dreams are made of. This is magical, musical, intoxicating, creative, dreamy energy, possibly bringing an experience of timelessness, dissolving in eternity, for however brief a moment.

With the Moon in Virgo, channel this energy so you don’t lose it — take the time to soak in art, music, be inspired and allow creativity and love to flow through you.

Pisces is the 12th sign of the zodiac, and it’s symbol is two fish swimming in a circle in opposite directions. And this symbol itself carries a deep mystical truth about the nature of this sign energy and the inherent duality.

Pisces represents the ethereal, the “Divine” or “God”; not what we “know” about God, but what God really “is.” And with Venus conjunct Neptune in Pisces, if we tune in we could listen to the heart of God. But Pisces also represents “Maya” or the great illusion, the veil — that separates us from seeing reality. And this veil isn’t on the world — this is veil of perception.

We’re leading into the weekend, with the Moon growing as we move towards a powerful Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Libra the sign of relationships and art, there is a dream coming to heart. It could be easy to be intoxicated (in more ways than one) and see the world with rose (or wine) tinted glasses, making something appear a lot more alluring than it is.

But this is about unconditional love, not necessarily “romantic” love. Be careful not to dive in headlong without checking first if there’s water in the pool, or be too quick to dismiss something as a mirage. Or to put it another way, go deeper beyond the surface of something or someone.

Seek depth and transparency, go beyond perception, projection, belief and be in no denial (the worst lies are the ones we tell ourselves) then you need not fear a rude awakening. And only then, can you discover the true essence, beauty, nature and value of something and how infinitely divine and beautiful reality can be.

For now, as Venus conjuncts Neptune in Pisces, allow yourself to be inspired, heal, dream a dream. As the exact Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse occurs on April 15, 2014 at 3:42 AM EDT at 25+ Libra in a conjunction to the North Node and Hecate, you are being shown what you need to do and the choices you can make to restore balance, create harmony and breathe life into a dream.

I’m recording a special audio the coming Libra Eclipse, which will be sent out to subscribers by email in the next day or so. If you aren’t yet a subscriber, you can sign up here for a one week free trial to receive the audio for this Eclipse and the next (Taurus Solar Eclipse,) monthly Horoscopes and other reports for this life-changing month in your inbox.

I’ll be back with more astrology, in the meanwhile, I wish you love…

She takes just like a woman, yes, she does
She makes love just like a woman, yes, she does
And she aches just like a woman
But she breaks just like a little girl.

— Bob Dylan, Just Like a Woman

Dear Friends,

Venus has now left the deep waters of Pisces and entered Aries the 1st sign of the zodiac. She is also approaching a conjunction to Uranus exact tonight Feb. 8, 2012 at 9:28 PM EST — which is sure to bring sudden, surprising developments.

The relationship between Pisces and Aries can be seen through the Prometheus myth, where Prometheus ‘the Awakener’ stole the fire (Aries) of the Gods (Pisces) and gave it to mortals. Venus in Aries represents the pure fire of creation. After her transit through Pisces, this is the un-manifest creation, manifest.

Astrologically Venus is said to be in ‘detriment’ in Aries, whereas she was ‘exalted’ in Pisces. When a planet is in its ‘detriment,’ its energy is harder to express and access naturally.

Here we get the image of a fallen angel, a Goddess who’s been sent down from heaven, to earth — and the ways and rules of this material world are often simply baffling to her — like a child in a new world.

Think of a new born, whose very presence and being is love. But it is hard for a child to express its needs so he or she will cry, or throw a tantrum, rather than be able to tell you what it’s feeling or what it needs. Do you then speak to the child and try to understand what he or she needs, give it tools for self-expression, or do we impatiently punish or beat the child, who has no understanding of why you would hit him or her? The same goes for our hearts.

Venus in Aries is like the child who colors wildly outside the lines or paints the sky a bright green instead of blue. Are we going to stamp the imagination out of (our inner) child and heart, to make it conform to the world? Or do we encourage, appreciate his or her uniqueness and see the wondrous world as new again through his or her eyes?

Welcome to a new week…

We are now in Eclipse season with a New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Gemini next week, and today on Monday, May 23, 2011 Venus and Mars conjunct in Taurus coloring the energy for the week and this Eclipse cycle. This aspect is bringing a cornucopia of delights, oozing with fertile financial and creative opportunities and opportunities for deep sensual pleasure.

Here is an excerpt from the May 2011 Astrological Overview sent out to subscribers at the beginning of the month:

“Perhaps the most significant aspect this month comes around the end of May when Venus-Mars conjunction in Taurus. This can be rather indulgent energy and is laden with rich, luscious and fertile possibilities – financially, romantically and creatively. The next conjunction will not be until 2013 in Aries, making this a rather rare aspect. What we make of it will depend on our ability to recognize the potential in something or someone [and more importantly what it means to us.]

“These planets usually conjunct once ever 2 years, but recently since 2008 (the last conjunction before that was in October 2006 in Scorpio) we’ve had a series of Venus-Mars conjunctions in close succession suggesting a situation or relationship that has been in a rapid state of evolution.

“Venus-Mars were conjunct in Libra on Sep. 12, 2008, in Aries on April 22, 2009, then on June 21, 2009 in Taurus, on Aug. 21, 2010 in Libra and the most recent one on Oct. 4, 2010 in Scorpio. Look back to these dates and you will see a greater pattern emerging in financial and creative situations, relationships and especially a close personal relationship you share.   Especially look to the time around of Oct. 4, 2010 when Mars and Venus made a conjunction in Scorpio. We were learning deep, dark perhaps painful truths and secrets at that time especially surrounding sexual relationships and financial commitments. Things were changing deeply back then and we were certainly put in the ring of fire.

But as the planets conjunct again in Taurus on May 23, 2011 in the opposite side of the zodiac look at how far you’ve come from six months ago. Scorpio represents transformation and although something was ‘dying’ it was a necessary part of the process of resurrection. Now as the planets conjunct in Taurus, we are learning what is ‘real’ never dies, it only changes and evolves to reveal true form.” — Priya Kale, May 1, 2011. An excerpt from the May 2011 Astrological Overview.

Be honest with yourself about your desires and what and whom you value most in this world. A meeting point is imminent for relationships, but don’t let your stubbornness stand in the way of what you really crave and yearn for. Anytime Venus and Mars make aspects, relationships and financial situations are highlighted and in Taurus this is very tangibly creative energy.

The next time Venus and Mars make a conjunction in Taurus will be 30 years later in 2041 when Saturn returns to Libra, making this an especially rare aspect and especially potent for relationships. Taurus is a sign that rules deep commitments and the commitments we are making now could very well set us on a cycle of the next thirty years — this is as real as it gets. What matters is how much we are willing to invest of our energy into seeing something grow. This will require patience and commitment but the fruits of your efforts will be well worth it. And if you dig below the surface you could discover something truly priceless.

Taurus represents the earth and all that is manifest.  Money may buy us things and take care of our needs to a certain extent, but it certainly can’t buy us happiness or love.  The energy now suggests we hold incredible potential before us to experience deep pleasure — not just of the body, but also of the heart.

We have one life to live and its too precious to live holding on to the things and people we love for fear of loss. You, me and everything that ‘is,’ will one day return to dust. Even loss is as much a part of life, making this incredible gift all the more precious in its transience, too short to waste on regrets and on what might have been. Only the love we share is real and what matters is how much we cherish life and each other while still here in the flesh.

Venus enters Aquarius, Sun sextile Chiron

Audio Forecasts for the 12 signs for the week through Dec. 15, 2008 are ready for download.

It’s been an interesting end of the year to say the least and the fireworks haven’t even begun yet. This week we have a Full Moon in Gemini opposite Mars, forming a Grand Mutable Cross with Saturn and Uranus. While Mercury conjuncts Pluto in Capricorn squaring the Aries Point. Change is here now and the news this week is likely to be reflective of this.

Its Sunday evening now and Venus has just entered Aquarius where she will stay until soon after the new year. We can expect love to get a bit strange or just plain weird, the trick would be to be play it cool and willing to explore your quirks and eccentric side; it could be the key to bringing back the spark in a relationship. In Aquarius, there may be a tendency to be emotionally detached or want to experience more freedom. But Aquarius is the sign of the collective consciousness and it is possible now for us to allow love a little breathing room where it can grow. We are each utterly unique in our gifts, talents, personalities and even how we love, we need to find a balance where each person in a relationship can feel free to express themselves without fear of being judged. Look for unusual solutions to problems, it’s time to think out of the box and get creative. This transit lends its well to ingenuity and creativity — in love, money, art. A radical, seemingly crazy idea may just be your key to success.

Later in the month she will make conjunctions to the North Node, Chiron and Neptune, while other alignments culminate as well. We are entering a powerful time in our relationships and likely to be learning a few bitter-sweet lessons. But we are making soul connections that have the ability to raise us to a higher level of awareness and relating. Aquarius is the sign of collective consciousness; if we can practice acceptance and learn to love each other as we are, we can experience true oneness.

Tomorrow [on Monday,] the Sun sextiles Chiron and over the weekend the Sun (and Mars) made conjunctions to the Great Attractor. Hopefully we’ve been able to make peace with the inherent polarities within ourselves and indeed life. Darkness is nothing but the absence of light. If we want to banish darkness, we need to bring positivity into a situation instead of fighting with shadows. Today’s aspect can be rather healing and any effort made to expand our understanding of a higher purpose behind life will be rewarded with fiery inspiration.

p.s.

On a personal note, today is also my mothers birthday, who has her Sun conjunct my Neptune. She was also born at the time of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Libra, that took place in the early 50’s, which is natally in her fifth house of creativity. She has been working hard on the most phenomenal one of a kind pieces of hand carved and painted woodcraft, I have ever seen. She will be having an exhibition of her work in Mumbai at the Nehru Arts Gallery, early February which I plan to attend. I will have more details and images up on the site soon.

Interestingly her Saturn-Neptune conjunction is exactly conjunct my North Node. To me it feels like she makes everything she touches just a little more beautiful and I hope someday I can be a little more like her. ‘Happy Birthday Mamma! I am so proud of you and I love you!’
