Dear Friends,

We’re coming up on a big week leading to New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on Nov. 25, 2011 at 1:09 AM EST, 6:09 AM UT and 4:09 PM AEST at 2+ degrees of the sign.

We are also now in a Mercury ‘storm’ as the planet slows down to a halt, before it stations retrograde on Nov. 24, 2011 at 2:19 AM EST less than 24 hours before the lunation.

Sagittarius can be a rather outspoken sign and with the planet of communication stationary, we can expect deep truths to be surfacing at this time. But also given this is a New Moon and Lunar Eclipse it may be that we have to rely on a deep inner knowing in the absence on information. There may be sudden opportunities to travel, or sudden changes in travel plans.

Here in the US it’s Thanksgiving weekend, the busiest weekend for travel in the year so in the event you do find yourself on the road on Thursday remember to pack and extra bag of patience and get ready for an adventure. Even if this Eclipse does not manifest as physical travel there is a sense that we are about learn something, asking us re-investigate our beliefs and what we’ve known to be “true.”

There’s more to a story than we first realized, more coming to the surface and more hope in a situation, so don’t be too quick to jump to conclusions. This could lead to surprising breakthroughs, if we’re only willing to go the extra mile. Where one door closes another opens, and in this case a door that was previously shut could suddenly opens. Be honest with yourself, the truth will set you free.

Even if something feels like detour, if we are open minded, move in a spirit of discovery and learning, we can trust the journey is leading is leading us to our greater destiny. Life is truly a journey not a destination and with Jupiter ruler of Sagittarius retrograde at this time a fair amount of patience is called for. Also Mars in Virgo trines Pluto in Capricorn on the day of the Eclipse, clearly suggesting where there is a will there is a way. What matters is our determination, dedication and faith.

On Nov. 23, 2011 the Sun leaves Scorpio and ingresses Sagittarius leading to the New Moon and Solar Eclipse on Nov. 25, 2011 at 2:09 AM EDT at 2+ Sagittarius. The lunation will trine Uranus in Aries and form a tight square to Mars at 6+ Virgo. There is a sense of having to take a leap of faith and do what needs to be done. The time before the New Moon especially at the time of an Eclipse in Sagittarius can feeling like ebbing away of faith or hope, or like there is no escaping a situation.

With the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius this requires us to push our boundaries, trust and have faith in our own abilities to do what needs to be done. As long as we make choices based in truth and personal integrity; in faith rather than fear we can trust we will be safe.

With Mercury stationing retrograde the day before the New Moon, whatever you thought was the end of the road, isn’t. We will be retracing our steps with the conversations and negotiations we’ve been involved in in November through December offering a second chance to discover a deeper truth and resurrect something with a new enlightened perspective.
