First a very happy New Moon! Yesterday, the Sun and Moon aligned in Virgo and Mars and Saturn made an exact conjunction in Scorpio.

We’re in a whole new chapter now, but before I get to the astrology, and in keeping with the astrology, I have a couple of important announcements to make:

1. If you’ve emailed me in the past couple of weeks and have not received a response, I apologize. My mail volume has been unusually high and I was traveling last week. I’ve read all of them, just have not had the chance to respond on my phone. I hope to clear through this over the next couple of days. Now on to the astrology again –

So… if you’re reading this, you made it to the “other side…” And you can’t move forward while you’re looking over your shoulder. Whatever the past has been like, let it go.

As much as there are echoes of the past reverberating now, you are in a new chapter. And this week there are powerful aspects unfolding, drawing you ever further into the future. What you create is up to you.

As I write this Tuesday afternoon, Venus in Leo is separating from her square to Saturn in Scorpio exact at 2:21 PM EDT earlier today. Tomorrow she squares Mars in Scorpio, igniting fiery sparks, desires, passion and creativity. Relationships are heating up, reaching a turning point.

We’re also leading up to the annual Sun-Neptune opposition when everything seems, well, just a bit more magical than usual. Leading up to the weekend when the Moon enters Scorpio and triggers the weeks aspects all over again — unleashing even deeper desires and passion.

Currently, the Moon is still in Virgo and we’re very much still in the womb on this lunation. It may be harder to stay focused with the impending Sun-Neptune opposition — bringing a dreamy, romantic quality to the week (relationships are super charged at the moment, go slow and you’re in no danger of slipping) but if you can channel this energy productively you could be staring at something rather divine.

Whatever is unfolding, stay in tune with an inner reality. Focus on healing rather than perfection. The story of ‘the Ugly Duckling’ comes to mind, who grew up to be a swan. But the truth is, he was just “being” himself, ugly or swan-like, was merely external perception.

Something may look like a real mess right now, especially with the Virgoan gaze. But there is no such thing as perfection. This is work in progress and something is evolving and resurrecting deep under the surface. And in this moment, here and now, no matter when you are reading this, all is just as it is supposed to be.

Last week, I had a few emails expressing concern, when I mentioned I had serious energy clearing work to do. I didn’t mean to alarm anyone. I am well — just surfing the waves like everyone else. And learning more and more each day to manage my energy as I surrender to life.

I actually managed to get away and go camping for a night, my first time ever. And it was better than I could have imagined and just where I needed to be, as I grounded. Nothing like the nature, the elements, sun, sand and sea, to bring a double Taurus, Scorpio rising back to herself.
