Dear Friends,
Here we are in a new cycle that began with the Gemini New Moon on May 28, 2014.
That morning, just as I was getting ready to send out the New Moon report to subscribers, I heard the news of Dr. Maya Angelou’s passing and I was silenced.
It doesn’t fail my observation that this incredible woman, author, storyteller, poet and child of God — chose to leave this mortal coil, just before this very poetic Gemini New Moon.
She was indeed an instrument and voice for a higher Divine power. And her last words of eternal wisdom (above) for us, are really all you need to know about the energy of this New Moon cycle we are in, and always.
Now, it’s late Saturday evening here in New York as I write this and the Moon is coasting through watery Cancer.
We’re still deep in the energy of the recent New Moon, with the Cancer Moon currently applying in conjunction to Jupiter, exact at 2:42 AM EDT overnight Sunday, June 1, 2014, before it goes Void of Course for about 19 hours until late Sunday night.
Void of Course Moon periods are generally best used for any continuing activity rather than initiating new projects. Although, the Moon is said to “perform somehow” when it is Void in the signs of Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius and Pisces.
This is watery, intuitive, emotional energy and you can expect things to flow at a steady pace tomorrow. But once the Moon enters Leo at 9:42 PM EDT on Sunday night — it’s showtime! Expect the week to kick off on a high note. Dare to be bold, confident, creative, spontaneous as you channel your passion. You could strike bullseye.
Also both Mercury and Venus have changed signs, as we move towards another Mercury retrograde (with the Sun in Gemini) on June 7, 2014. I’ve interpreted these transits as well as other major aspects in this current Gemini New Moon cycle over the coming two weeks, leading to the Sagittarius Full Moon bringing huge revelations.

In other news, you may have read I lost my phone a week ago. But then as predicted and hoped, I FOUND it yesterday. I had left it in a shop, but only got it back after the New Moon when I went back for the third time. (It was closed the previous two times.) I got it back just as the transiting Sun made a conjunction to my natal Jupiter (luck) in Gemini (communication) in 8th House (resurrection)! It was my last “hope” and a “knowing” I’d find it on Friday.
So yet again astrology works, but I’m certainly experiencing the “mercurial” trickster, wet and slippery energy of this retrograde kicking in. But I’ll be back in the next few days, likely with a Video Blog. Until then, enjoy your weekend!
