We’re in for a passionate weekend!

Venus in Virgo squares Mars in Sagittarius, on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, at 8:19 PM EDT, followed by Mercury’s opposition to Neptune on Aug. 7, 2016 at 12:24 PM EDT.

Relationships, financial and creative situations are heating up, bringing us to a significant turning point.

Over the past month/s Venus and Mars were moving through Leo and Scorpio, both fixed, and very passionate signs. Now, both planets are in a square in mutable signs, suggesting quick changes in dynamic of relationships, financial and creative situations.

Notably the Moon is in Libra this weekend, also highlighting relationships and asking for balanced emotions first. Then you can respond and resolve situations creatively, lovingly and peacefully to create balance and harmony with others.

If something or someone triggers you, keep those fingers and your gaze pointed inwards. A square asks that we find a way to integrate the planetary energies internally first, then there can be a sense of resolution. This begins with deep honesty with yourself.

Also, Mercury is approaching an opposition to Neptune.
All is not as it seems. If in doubt, and definitely if you feel too certain about something — it would be best to spend this time in self-reflection till clarity returns. Rather than make assumptions, jump to conclusions, and or make life changing decisions.

In all conversations and negotiations, especially surrounding money or love, transparency is key. Also be conscious of your ideas about relationships, money, or how you think things should be or work.

Venus is the planet of love, beauty, relationships, money, what we value — beyond just the material, the feminine principle. Mars is the planet of sex, war, ambition, passion, drive, the primal fire, the masculine principle.

What do you want from a situation that frustrating you, or you can’t seem to make sense of? What do you want personally, sexually, financially, in a relationship, (not necessarily from a particular person,) from your work and life? What would you do to get it? And more importantly, what you are willing to give?

Avoid idealizing; or judgement (of yourself, others, or a situation), blame, being critical, expecting another to be responsible for your desires, trying to please, or making sacrifices and then resenting. Instead dare to acknowledge your desires — sexual, creative, emotional, financial, and or material.

Be aware of your ego, pride, defensiveness, fears of rejection, failure, needs for validation, etc. that prevent you from expressing your love, heart, art, or yourself authentically; and attracting the love, resources or support you need. Money is not dirty, neither is sex — it’s the purity and love in one’s heart, one’s integrity, intentions and values that matter.

Nothing and no one is perfect. The most dangerous lies are the ones we tell ourselves. At best you can be honest with yourself about whether a relationship or situation is healing, if there is growth, what is and isn’t working, and your role in it. Clarify that, then you do what you need to do.

Something might not be as impossible as it seems, but be realistic about the time, energy, effort, and devotion it will take to manifest something and what needs to heal.

Whatever the challenge you face — you have the skills, knowledge and resources you need, and the love you seek is already within you.
