And in the end… Taurus Full Moon: Nov. 4 – 18, 2017

Dear Friends,

We’re just past the Taurus Full Moon, with the Moon currently making an exact opposition to Mercury in Scorpio at the time of my posting this.

The changes are rolling in thick and fast over the coming weeks, as the Sun transits through Scorpio: the sign that rules death, suggesting something is dying and changing form. But Taurus Full Moon is a reminder the sea doesn’t cling to the shore, and you needn’t cling either to anyone or anything either.

The only way out is through; the more you let go, the easier a transition will be. Nothing lasts for ever; people die, relationships change, you can’t take your money to the grave. Recognise what and who matters most in your life, and what will matter once you are gone.

Whatever it is you most seek, aspects suggest if you free your heart, the rest will follow. “And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make…”

This month’s Taurus Full Moon aligns on Nov. 4, 2017 at 1:22 AM EDT opposite the Sun in Scorpio at 11+ degrees of the Taurus Scorpio axis.

Notably, Venus in Libra made an exact opposition to Uranus in Aries at 26+ degrees only twenty minutes before the lunation; repeating he Libra New Moon’s opposition to Uranus, which seeded this beginning of this cycle, that is coming to fruition and culminating with the Taurus Full Moon.

Among other aspects at the time of the lunation: Saturn is in a trine to Uranus in Aries, and Venus is in a separating sextile to Saturn; and the Sun in Scorpio trines Neptune in Pisces. Also this is the first lunation in Scorpio

A Full Moon brings things to light — in Taurus — this feels like a stick of dynamite with the power to blast off and breakthrough long standing stuck energy. There are new roads opening, even as old roads fall away — in some cases rather dramatically.

There are primal emotions, desires, and fears surfacing. There could be sudden revelations, unexpected attractions, new romances, or then sudden break-ups and endings, as deeper layers are revealed. Something is not as impossible as you think, and there are unpredictable developments unfolding.

Taurus-Scorpio is the most powerful axis of the zodiac; they are both fixed signs and deal with themes of life and death, money, possessions, other people’s money, sex, power, life, death, bloodlines, genes, things that are considered taboo — where we merge energy with another on the deepest level with another.

With both Mars and Venus (rulers of the lunation) in Libra, relationships are highlighted, especially those involving sex, money, and blood — where ties run deep; bringing to the surface unconscious or subconscious patterning, so you can break free of it.

If you find yourself triggered, do what you can to bring yourself back to your body. Take a walk in nature, get a massage, feel the earth under your feet, hug someone, take a bath, eat nourishing food, indulge your senses, remind yourself of what matters most, and what will matter when you are gone.

Regardless of what unfolds, be grateful for what’s being revealed. The Moon is exalted in Taurus and you’re learning what is real, precious, and truly valuable in a situation.

You are not stuck, you’re being liberated. You have more options, resources, emotional, and material support than you think and most importantly you have choices — that’s the only true power we ever have. If you can’t see this yet, it won’t be long before you do.
