I’ve said it so many times I don’t believe myself anymore almost. But the day has finally arrived – I fly to Mumbai in a few hours and will be there for the next few months until the May 22, 2011.
I arrive just in time for my mother’s second exhibition, which opens on the Feb. 15, 2011 at Nehru Art Center and will be on until Feb. 21, 2011. If you happen to be in Mumbai please do come visit.
On that note – I will be away from email until sometime on Feb. 15th – 16th so please be patient with me as I answer your email or any orders or questions regarding site. For immediate assistance you can also cc Laura at bugz@cosmicdiaries.com.

As I sit (and write) in this apartment for perhaps the last time, looking back it’s been a long journey. Bittersweet. But as it goes, the sweet is never as sweet without having tasted the bitter. And I’ve tasted some divine sweetness too. But now I’m filled with a strange emptiness.
Which reminds me of an email I received from Niles last week when I was feeling this way: “This is from Brennan Manning (a former Franciscan Monk/Catholic priest who now works has a speaking and healing ministry worldwide): ‘At different times on the journey I have tried to fill the emptiness that frequently comes with God’s presence…’”
The past week has been a whirlwind to say the least, as you may have noticed in your life as well and in the world. The Aquarius New Moon and all the planets in the sign are making a clean sweep of all that is no longer needed, awakening new possibilities.
Next week we are leading towards a big bold Leo Full Moon on Feb. 18, 2011. Also on that day Venus squares Saturn. There are real practical issues to be worked out financially and within relationships. But there is sure to be excitement building up to this dramatic finale.
With the Sun in close conjunction to Mars, Neptune and Mercury in Aquarius, expect a revelation of all that has been so confusing, baffling and impossible to make sense of. Then we can make choices, decisions based on reality and facts; bringing real change, paving the way forward for stronger foundations.
And as much as I was not going to entertain Valentine’s Day I figured it never hurts to spread some love…
So may your day and days be filled with love and may you find yourself in the arms of someone who gives life to your heart body and soul… and even if you are ‘alone’ know Love is measured by what we give not receive… Only Love is real.
With that I say goodbye for now. I’ll be back in a few days from the other side of the world.
In the meanwhile, I send you my love from the skies somewhere among the stars. May you be blessed and a blessing always…
Priya Kale, signing off from NYC (for now.)

And this one’s for you, my Love…
—
In the still of the night, in the world’s ancient light
Where wisdom grows up in strife
My bewildering brain, toils in vain
Through the darkness on the pathways of life
Each invisible prayer is like a cloud in the air
Tomorrow keeps turning around
We live and we die, we know not why
But I’ll be with you when the deal goes downWe eat and we drink, we feel and we think
Far down the street we stray
I laugh and I cry and I’m haunted by
Things I never meant nor wished to say
The midnight rain follows the train
We all wear the same thorny crown
Soul to soul, our shadows roll
And I’ll be with you when the deal goes downThe moon gives light and shines by night
I scarcely feel the glow
We learn to live and then we forgive
O’er the road we’re bound to go
More frailer than the flowers, these precious hours
That keep us so tightly bound
You come to my eyes like a vision from the skies
And I’ll be with you when the deal goes downI picked up a rose and it poked through my clothes
I followed the winding stream
I heard a deafening noise, I felt transient joys
I know they’re not what they seem
In this earthly domain, full of disappointment and pain
You’ll never see me frown
I owe my heart to you, and that’s sayin’ it trueAnd I’ll be with you when the deal goes down
