We are just coming down from a Gemini Full Moon that seems to be shaking stuff out of the trees. We are not living under an ordinary sky right now and there are powerful forces of destiny at work. Things are changing but what has recently surfaced is still very mutable and malleable.

The Sun and Mars are still in Sagittarius so there is still time to commit to these changes. Its like we now have a fuller picture of what we are working with and this is the week when we can work magic to completely transform a situation simply by adjusting or rather letting go of perception and then making choices based on optimism.

It’s close to midnight here in NYC, although I might as well be on another planet. Just when I thought I had cleared up my schedule for the week, Yasmin (Boland) asked me if I would fill in for her daily horoscopes for a week, later this month which I said would be thrilled to do. So I will be here at my desk faithfully watching the wheel go round on my laptop screen over the coming days. I will post an update in a couple of days with updates on the 2009 horoscopes, which will likely be broken up into two installments to release in early to mid Jan (have to check astrology) and the second installment by the eclipse. As of now its looking to be a two part installment, a general forecast and a love/relationship forecast for each sign. These will be available for pre-order at a reduced price, which will go up at the time of release. So please look for details on the site sometime by Friday, when I have a better idea of how they are shaping up.

Also, you may have noticed there is a new photographer in town! Some of the pictures you will see on the site in the days to come are taken by Sharon Bellenger, a brilliant photographer from Montreal, Canada. I connected with Sharon about a year ago when I was writing the blog for Planet Waves. One day I happened to be doing a Google search when I found a Flickr blog with beautiful pictures posted to a blog I had written. Sharon also has Neptune and Venus conjunct my Scorpio ascendant. So you can say – her pictures for me seem to complete the beauty of this world, saying what I can’t, when words fail me…I hope you enjoy them as I do.

On a personal note, it’s been a long December already and I’m dreaming of Christmas past. I am haunted by memories, but how do you miss those you’ve loved when the presence of their love never leaves you? The persistence of memory can be a strange thing, it stops us from living in the now.

Perhaps its the end of the year and I am nostalgic, looking back I can’t believe it has gone by this quickly. Today I feel out of my body watching just how beautiful and fragile we are as humans. This frailty and gift that is this moment needs to be cherished in the only time it exists, now. For it is indeed all we have; that and faith, that what will be will be, and until then, all is just as it should be.
