“If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, infinite.” — William Blake, “The Marriage of Heaven and Hell”
~~
Dear Friends,
We’re in the liminal space between Eclipses when life tends to get just a little more magical, perhaps surreal, our perception of time accelerates, and the gates of possibility swing open.
With the Sun in Pisces, in conjunction to the South Node, fast approaching the Pisces Solar Eclipse on Feb. 26, 2017 — “reality” is more malleable, and the veil of illusion – thin.
The recent Leo Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse on Feb. 10, 2017 highlighted the Leo-Aquarius axis: the needs of the self vs. those of the ‘collective.’
As ‘the mask’ was eclipsed, this might have brought a feeling of being vulnerable and exposed. But what’s unfolding also offers the chance for profound self-reflection, allowing you to reconnect with your inner-child, essence, and deepen in self-awareness.
Situations and people in your life are mirroring what needs to be released; asking you to accept your role and responsibility in the creation of situations, where you’ve reached the end of the road, where you need boundaries, and where you need to lower your defenses.
No man is an island, and we all need to feel connected. But the egoist need for validation (in whatever form,) that is ultimately the obstacle in your ability to share, and be yourself. You are here that is enough. Now do your best.
With self-acceptance, you can extend the same compassion to connect more deeply with the Universe, share your light, love, heart, and experience a deeper sense of belonging and support.

The past 18 months marked a phase of deep cleansing, and (re) building, through discipline and hard work, in the areas of your life represented by the Virgo-Pisces axis in your chart.
The upcoming Pisces Solar Eclipse is the last in this series, until the Nodes return to this part of the sky, marking the end of this process – offering a chance to wipe the slate clean and make a fresh start.
Over the coming days as the Moon wanes, this is a process of dissolution of the ego; an emptying out, so you can be a vessel for the healing waters of Pisces and open up to a fresh flow of inspiration, abundance, and unconditional love with the new cycle.

Today, on Feb. 22, 2017 Mars squared Pluto, (with the Moon in Capricorn triggering aspects) moving to an opposition to Jupiter and conjunction Uranus at the time of the Solar Eclipse on Feb. 26, 2017.
This is likely to be a profoundly emotional Eclipse, bringing surprising (perhaps shocking) developments at the least, with the potential for massive breakthroughs, and recognition of [your] infinite potential. Expect the unexpected.
Pisces is symbolized by the two fish — one that swims upstream to the light of consciousness, the other that sinks further into the material world of Maya, illusion, and disillusionment. What you’re attempting calls for awareness as you steer your course.
Any power struggle you currently face, would be best resolved internally rather than externally. As Mars moves through the Cardinal T-square, you’re moving stuck energy, perhaps generations of patterning and conditioning; and none of this is easy — emotionally and or otherwise.
This is about your liberation. You can be anyone you want, and do anything you want — but who are you and what do you want? It’s about authenticity, integrity, and self-awareness. Be aware of what motivates you. Actions have consequences and nothing exists in a vacuum. Fear and anger can be destructive forces, but with awareness you can use them to fuel you into constructive action towards manifesting a vision.
As the Moon moves through Capricorn and Aquarius over the coming days: lighten your load. Let go of what you’ve outgrown, and has served its purpose— emotionally, mentally, physically, psychologically, and on all levels — especially in the area of your life/chart represented by Pisces.
It’s easy to cling to the past (often unconsciously) even it was painful, because it’s comfortable. There is a way forward, but however painful or pleasurable a situation or the past has been — if you remain stuck in it you will stagnate. You have to let go of one shore, if you want to get to the other side.
Especially if there’s disillusionment, become aware of and consciously release: expectations, illusions and attachments that cause disappointment, and what drains your time, resources, money and energy.
Capricorn and Aquarius are both Saturn ruled signs. Saturn’s ongoing square to Neptune has been a journey, of wading through a sludge of “alternative facts,” asking that we seek an objective reality; or risk getting sucked into the rabbit hole of confusion, delusion, denial, and deception.
When people say “my truth,” what they really mean is really “my perception.” Perception, however persuasive and persistent, is not reality. There is only one reality, and one truth. To experience this oneness — Pisces — one has to dissolve perception.
It will take effort, but consciously move past judgment and allow your experiences to guide you. Current aspects offer a potent window to break-free of toxic or unconscious habits, influences, addictions, and perceptions; or at least become aware of them, so you can begin a process of healing and transformation.
We live in a world in crisis — environmentally, politically and globally; constantly barraged with messages of what we should aspire to be, like, look like, think like. Watching or reading the news for fifteen minutes is enough to overwhelm and send anyone in a tailspin. This aside from the very personal, individual challenges we face, as we navigate this evolving greater reality of the world.

Take the time before the new cycle to go inward, retreat from the external world, seek insight, reconnect with the source, and align with your inner compass. Meditation, yoga, or any other form of spiritual practices will be your anchor and lifesaver through this time.
There are no magic solutions in life but, believe it or not, there’s very real magic in the air. Before the Eclipse would be a powerful time to do a ritual or a simple candle magic spell, to release old stagnant energy, or anyone, or anything. After the New Moon and Eclipse, you could do a light a candle to set intentions for the new cycle, and what you want it to bring forth. Still be careful what you wish for, because the Universe is always listening, and you might get it. If you don’t know what you want – ask for clarity and grace.
No matter what’s unfolding (how chaotic, surreal, transcendental or otherwise): all events, circumstances, people, situations are part of a natural process — the great churning of the cosmic ocean within and around you.
What we call reality is like clay in the hands of the divine creator, masking the underlying void — designed to dissolve the ego, and bring forth the nectar of pure consciousness through you.
Pisces represents music, magic, God, the Universe, all that is ethereal, and all that exists — manifest and unmanifest. It represents Maya (the Sanskrit word for) the great cosmic illusion; even science has evidence that this Universe is a hologram. Reality is indeed stranger than fiction, and we’re about to experience that undeniably with this upcoming Eclipse – blowing our perceptions, offering a glimpse beyond the veil.
Feb. 24, 2017, marks MahaShivratri — the ‘Great Night of Shiva’ — one of the most auspicious nights of the year. Shiva is the ‘destroyer’ of illusion and darkness [of ignorance]; the stillness, the formlessness behind the form (Shakti — which is all of creation,) into which all of creation shall eventually dissolve.
On this night before the Pisces New Moon, devotees stay awake all night in prayer and meditation to catch a glimpse of, and be graced by, Shiva and his immortal essence. Here is my Guru, her Holiness Sri Amma Karunamayi’s discourse on Mahashivratri. She describes the origins of the Auspicious Night where Lord Shiva grants all boons. Amma also suggests which practices we can do to make the most of this auspicious night.
An artist uses colours, shapes, and forms to create an image on a canvas. Still it’s only paint on a blank canvas, creating the illusion of an image: whether a landscape, portrait, abstract, or a murder scene — form on formlessness.
You have what you need to create or attract what you need. Also remember – the painting couldn’t exist without the painter. Similarly all of creation could not exist, without a Creator. The New Moon in Pisces is a reminder that the Universe is a divine cosmic mother, (out of whose womb you were born,) who knows your every need before you even ask, before, and better than you do.
Surrender and trust the process. Then there can truly be an experience of liberation and being touched by grace.
