On that note here is a Blog you may have missed from a couple of days ago, written for today’s Venus square Pluto aspect. Even if you’ve read it before, it may help to read it again as a reminder.

But reading and living are two different things, and all we can do is our best. Learn to let go and live a little. We have a choice now to be happy or to be right… And whatever we see as an external struggle is truly an internal one in teaching us to trust and find our own integrity, rather than hold on to expectations and resentment.

Happy Easter everyone!

On April 23, 2011, Venus made a conjunction to Uranus in Aries, followed by Mercury’s direct station only hours later in the same sign. This is bringing blazing truths to the surface, asking us to push through boundaries in love, art, and financial situations and to respond authentically from the core of one’s self.

With Mercury direct, things can finally start to move forward again; although, it will be a few days before we can wrap our heads around recent insights and integrate them. A simple readjustment in perspective could change everything.

We are being awoken to a new reality, but with the Moon in conjunction to Pluto at this time, be careful not to shoot the messenger before you even hear what he or she has to say. If you let go of perceptions and expectations, listen to what someone is saying, you may actually like what you hear.

Venus in Aries is at best creative, childlike, spontaneous and passionate; at worst, she can be selfish, narcissistic, impatient and impetuous. Uranus energy is electric. The more we resist, the greater the feeling of being shocked by events, but if we dare to walk into the unknown, then we can be liberated from fears to discover new potential and passion.

As Venus moves toward a square to Pluto midweek on Wednesday, financially as well as within personal relationships, this signals an important turning point. We have a choice to respond lovingly and creatively, rather than engage in manipulative power struggles.

The aspect can and will of course have some acting like immature children. But this is a chance to reclaim our innocence and evolve into true maturity. Children don’t really hold onto resentment and anger. They may fight and disagree, but just as easily they are willing to let go, forgive, and compromise, and then they are ready to play again. Pluto is a reminder to let go of expectations, rules and conditions in order to find your integrity. Give to that which makes your heart come alive and what is of value beyond your superficial, material existence.

On Thursday, the Sun in Taurus trines Pluto, suggesting where we are humble, patient and willing to confront our fears, our efforts will be rewarded. We are burning off the dross. With love and in love, there can be a resurrection and recognition of what is real and the discovery of deeper pleasures and treasures.
