Hello from Mumbai, India!
As is the sky, the world has changed in the past ten days since my last post and since I arrived in India.
I wrote this on Dec. 14 a couple of days before the recent and sixth (in a series of seven) exact square between Uranus and Pluto. I never finished the post, in the midst of life. And forgot about it and was going to start over today. But re-reading the words in the light of recent events, I thought I’d post it anyway.
“I arrived in Mumbai, not after an uneventful journey. My flight was the night of the Full Moon — hours later. It was pouring rain in NYC and I had errands to run in the city.
“But with luck and grace (of the Sagittarius Sun and Gemini Full Moon) I found a cab driver, who drove me around the city all day while I ran errands for free. He said it was Karma. And the best part were his stories and the wisdom he had to share.
I couldn’t help but smile at the symbolism — cab driver, transportation, conversation — all Gemini and wisdom, generosity and me traveling long distance — Sagittarius. Showing me yet again, bearing witness to life, astrology comes alive.
“Bringing me to the current astrology and what’s going on in the world. Venus entered Capricorn a few days ago, and is inching her way to a conjunction to Pluto. Also we’re approaching the sixth of seven Uranus-Pluto squares on Dec. 15, 2014 bringing us to a collective and personal turning point yet again.
“You see the angst in the world, the oppression, the abuse of power, the explosive anger of the people. We are living and acting out these archetypes — right here on earth. Really if things were any different I’d be surprised. But as bloody a mess the world is in right now (no pun intended,) all IS just as it should be. This is suchness.
“I say this knowing there is much that begs for change — but if astrology can teach us anything in this moment about how we can better navigate this landscape, the square suggests, for change to be effective and lasting, it has to come from within.
“As long as we keep projecting out anger, powerlessness — we will continue to repeat the very patterns we are trying to break free from or destroy. There’s no time to waste in blame, pointing fingers. It’s easy to say, give yourself permission to be yourself. But do you know who you are? Your behavior is how you are — not “who” you are.
“And the aspect is really awakening you to an inner essential reality and truth. “
Since I wrote the post above — the Uranus-Pluto square arrived with the cafe siege in Sydneym which was just the beginning of a chain of horrific events, not least the murder of more than a hundred innocent children.
If you read my Blog you’re aware I rarely comment on politics or even current events or the news too much. But what’s happening now is impossible to ignore. And the astrological symbolism is stark and undeniable. Aries is the sign that rules “the child,” “children,” it also rules the “head.” And the children were shot point blank in the head; Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Scorpio (mutual reception) showing us the darker side of humanity.
But yet, in the midst of this, we’ve also seen the restoration of relations between the U.S. and Cuba after 50 yrs all in a span of days. An undeniable sign of hope and liberation — opening boundaries.
Situations are slowly but surely reaching a place critical mass — where change is inevitable. Either you change or change is made for you. And all that’s unfolding is indeed reflecting the sky.
We’re moving through the holiday season a time when people are naturally feeling a lot a more sensitive, nostalgic. And the sky too reflects, an intense patch of astrology between now and Christmas day — which comes with it’s own fireworks and potential for breakthroughs. So go slow.
On Dec. 21, 2014 stations direct just before the Sun leaves Sagittarius to enter Capricorn, marking the Solstice; followed immediately by the Capricorn New Moon. Also Venus and Mercury make conjunctions to Pluto, triggering the recent Uranus Pluto square and Saturn enters Sagittarius.
No matter what the calendar says, the year is far from over. And there are more than a few surprises yet to come, so buckle up. But none of this need make you nervous or fearful. With awareness, there is every opportunity to breakthrough mountainous obstacles and generations of patterns and conditioning. Liberating you to explore the potential in front of you.
I’ve interpreted these aspects in detail in the December Cosmic Weather, which I’d highly recommend you read given the potent climate. And f you haven’t watched the Overview for December, or even if you have, I’d recommend you watch it again to see if the words have deepened in meaning as life and aspects unfold.
Perhaps the most significant of all: these are Saturn’s few days in Scorpio before it changes signs for the first time in over two years to enter Sagittarius on Dec. 23, 2014, ushering us into a whole new chapter.
Saturn is the teacher, the master, the gateway, between the past and the future. And in Scorpio this has been an inward journey to the depths of the unconscious; that has likely taken you to the edge of your personal abyss.
Saturn entered Scorpio in October 2012. What have you learned in the past two years? How have you grown? The area of your life (chart) represented by Scorpio, has changed undeniably, perhaps irrevocably. But where we’ve been willing to do the work, learn the lessons — Saturn promises rewards. And this work has been of your evolution, so you can be elevated.
There is no escaping Saturn and there is no escaping Scorpio — and now as Saturn enters Sagittarius, whether you’re ready or not, there are chapters ending and doors are closing. But where one door opens, another opens and as we enter the Capricorn New Moon (ruled by Saturn) on Dec. 21, 2014 and as Saturn enters Sagittarius only days after on Dec. 23, 2014 — this is certainly heralding new hope, beginnings, setting us on a whole new path.
In some cases, we may have to stick a dynamite into the mountain so we can tunnel and carve a new path through it. But where there is a will there is a way. And really this about an inner breakthrough, liberating you to reach for something that is no less than a calling.
No matter how dark things seem right now — you don’t need some great escape plan in place. Stay rooted in your faith, not in a better tomorrow, but in existence itself. And the life within you that wakes up each morning and draws breath to greet a new day.
Collectively, personally and individually we stand at a threshold. And soon it will be time to take that first step and leap of faith into a new world, as Saturn enters Sagittarius. Consider the next six months a recce, allowing you to survey this new world we are in.
Saturn returns to Scorpio briefly, next year between June and September, allowing you to make final adjustments to structures and relationships, before it re-enters Sagittarius until 2017.
Now, as I write this the Moon is in Scorpio and will make its final conjunction to Saturn in about a few hours at 2:50 PM ES; 7:50 PM UT on Dec. 19, 2014 at 29+ Scorpio. Shortly after the Moon-Saturn conjunction, the Moon enters Sagittarius at 5 PM EST 10 PM UT moving into the dark of the Moon as we reach the end of this cycle. Also, tomorrow on Dec. 20, 2014, Venus conjuncts Pluto and Mercury sextiles Neptune.
As you move towards the Capricorn New Moon enter a space of deep release as you let go of deadweight and emotional baggage. It’s going to be a long road, you will want to travel light. But there’s something here that’s pure gold; stay rooted in your values, so you recognize what is precious in a situation. Also with the Moon in Sagittarius, it’s important you have foresight, so you don’t accidentally saw off the branch you’re sitting on; and a vision, then you can find a way forward to manifest.
Below is an excerpt from the monthly Cosmic Weather for December 2014 sent out to subscribers covering the aspects. (If you aren’t a subscriber, you can sign up here for a one week free trial (limited to one per subscriber) to receive this and the monthly horoscopes in your email. You can cancel anytime during the first week and you will not be charged.)
Starting tomorrow and until the end of the year, I dive into the final draft of the 2015 Horoscopes. But I’ll be back hopefully tomorrow with a video on Saturn in Sagittarius and more astrology as time permits. In the meanwhile, I wish you a very happy holiday season.
Love,
Priya

A quick note about the 2015 Annual Horoscopes: Some of you may know, for the first time had to cancel the Annual Horoscopes last year, and started re-writing a whole new set for the coming year of 2015.
So if you’ve already purchased your 2014 Annual Horoscopes you need not purchase these again. But if you have NOT ordered the 2014 Annual Horoscopes, you can pre-order the 2015 Horoscopes at this link.
The horoscopes have turned out a lot more in-depth and long-range than I expected (continuing beyond 2015) so I am re-thinking how I package these once they are finished and released – so this is your best chance to get them individually now.
You can also order these as a gift for family and friends. The passwords will be sent to you on release, which you can forward to family and friends.

An Excerpt ==
“On Dec. 20, 2014, Mercury sextiles Neptune, followed by Venus’ conjunction to Pluto on the same day.
This is a deep exchange of information and energy, perhaps bringing lucrative opportunities, as well buried perhaps “darker,” “forbidden” desires to the surface.
“Relationships and financial situations that are evolving deeply and there is a smoldering intensity to this energy, which could lead to profound breakthroughs and an ability to reclaim one’s power. But for that you have to be honest about what you are attached to, or what you subconsciously see as having power over you.
“There is a sense of having to bend the rules and breaking through conditioning, but this must be done consciously, with no denial. Desire is desire, you cannot control or define it. But you can still choose whether or not to act on something. Everything has a price. Be conscious you aren’t selling your soul or making a deal with the devil to get ahead.
“Anything gained through less than scrupulous means, or rooted in selfish or self serving desires, will be a fleeting treasure. Avoid any desire to manipulate or control a situation and dig deep for your humanity and integrity. This is not about morality, but about humanity.
“Love is something that cannot be bound by law, it either is or isn’t there. And just because you love someone does not automatically mean a relationship will work. We are all born alone and we die alone, and every relationship is one that we ultimately part with – in death or in life. What matters is how we cherish, grow and learn from what was shared.” — Priya Kale, December 2014 Cosmic Weather. Read Full report.
