Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
By Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

NEW: Saturn in Sagittarius Video – Part One

Here is a Part One of the Saturn in Sagittarius transit video that I recorded two days ago, when the Sun and Moon were still in Sagittarius and Uranus was still retrograde. A lot has come to awareness since then and I will record a Part 2 shortly.

Dear Friends,

Yesterday, Uranus stationed direct in Aries, the Sun entered Capricorn marking the Solstice and the longest night of the year. Followed immediately by the Capricorn New Moon on 0+ degrees.

And now we’re in the last few hours of Saturn in Scorpio as it prepares to leave the sign and enter Sagittarius for the first time since Nov. 17, 1985.

I wrote this in the December Cosmic Weather about the Capricorn New Moon, seeding the energy of Saturn’s ingress into Sagittarius, offering insight into the transit:

“The Sagittarius season has helped you gain clarity on the vision and now you can begin to take concrete steps towards a goal. [As you move into this Capricorn New Moon cycle, remember:] The mightiest oak, came out of an acorn — and that’s equivalent of what you’re seeding. With time, dedication, commitment, ingenuity and most importantly love, something could grow larger than life.” — Priya Kale, December 2014 Cosmic Weather.

Also, I refer you back once again to Ben Commons Almanac for December 2014. I wish I’d read this yesterday.

10517621_10152222816395706_9025454099523086056_o(1)Personally — the Uranus direct station and the Capricorn New Moon, came with rather shocking developments. And with Saturn in its last degree in Scorpio my first house — I have learned more lessons, more about myself and grown more in the past 24 hours, than I perhaps have through this entire transit.

I had a blowout with a friend, triggering deep unconscious emotions and fears; I lashed out in pain. Worst of all I hurt someone I care about. But I also realize everything happens for a reason even if I can’t see it. We live and hopefully we learn. And the best I can do is to embody the very expensive lessons I’ve learned, so there can be change.

As humans we want to look for something to blame when things don’t go a way that is expected or that disrupts our version of reality or the way we think things “should” be. Rather than accepting what “is” with grace, so there can be true transformation.

Saturn’s lessons are tough, but they are necessary. And the Uranus direct station was an awakening to my own darkness and unconscious fears, and the energy work I have to do. All the knowledge in the world amounts to nothing, unless one can embody it. And necessary as honesty is for healing, but honesty without compassion is destructive.

I tell you this story, to give you an example and hopefully share the lessons I am learning. A lesson that will likely be hammered home for us all, until it is learned with this transit of Saturn in Sagittarius: knowing the path is not enough; you have to walk it.

When I write this Blog, I am certainly not preaching. At best I am talking to myself. I may know what the planets are doing tomorrow, but I still have to live the astrology and I am certainly not above it.

There’s another lesson here regarding spiritual teachers, guides, even astrologers — they are human. Just because someone knows the right thing to say, has the gift of insight, foresight, divination — it is not necessary they have mastered living and embodying their truth.

You can respect authority but you cannot surrender your power to anyone or anything other than “God”  or your own highest consciousness. We are all on our own journey and you need not lead, nor follow. Let experience be your guide.

Your only duty is to yourself; to embody and stand tall in the light of your highest consciousness and bear witness to life rather than judge it. Then your being itself will act as a guiding light or a lighthouse for ships passing through stormy waters, leaving behind a path for those and the generations that will follow in your footsteps one day.

But also remember unless you are enlightened, you are human and fallible. Now is not the time to get on your high horse about something. The mighty shall fall. Stay humble, grounded and you can go far. Then the transit can elevate you to great heights.

I’m diving back into the 2015 Annual Horoscopes now until the end of the year, but time permitting I will try to check back in here with the Blog at some point before the years end. But in the meanwhile I wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy, joyous and prosperous New Year.

Love,

Priya
