Mercury leaves shadow a day after the New Moon, on Dec. 14, 2012, entering new territory for the first time since Nov. 6, 2012 and immediately trines (newly direct) Uranus in Aries.
Keep an open mind in all conversations even if it stretches your faith to believe something is possible. Be open to learning, rather than think you know it all and be met with a rude surprise. There is rarely smoke without fire, and where there is a will there is a way.
Mercury in Sagittarius squares Chiron in Pisces on Dec. 15, 2012 bringing a chance to deepen awareness, even if it means acknowledging a painful or not so pleasant truth. Venus squares Neptune on Dec. 16, 2012 and Mercury in Sagittarius opposes Jupiter in Gemini on Dec. 17, 2012. Especially when it comes to matters relating to love and a money, in becoming aware of fantasies and wounds, we can begin to heal.
This period could raise questions about what “unconditional love” really means. And there are huge important choices to be made, look within for answers rather than cling to external fantasies. Without trust there can be nothing and trust requires communication, transparency and honesty, consistently over a period of time. Especially if one is trying to rebuild trust.
Venus’ trine to Uranus on Dec. 19, 2012 may bring impulsive desires to the forefront, perhaps to escape a situation or act on a desire. But most often what we seek is freedom to express ourselves, rather than freedom from something. Let faith and love, win over fear or anger.
Trusting the hope in your heart and following your passion may seem like a gamble, but if you let go of expectations at least you’ll know you tried and you may end up somewhere better than you expected. The aspect is also a reminder that love is a verb and action not a noun. And sometimes love requires an act of faith and trust.
But as Venus squares Chiron the day after on Dec. 20, 2012 it would be prudent to be wise, honest and look before we leap. If we’re overly-confident there is a danger of getting burned. But if we are willing to acknowledge our wounds there can be deep healing and liberation.
