Dear Friends,

We are in the Dark of the Moon, with the Moon currently in Cancer and moving toward the Leo New Moon. The lunation occurs on Aug. 9, 2010 at 11:07 PM EDT, and on Aug. 10, 2010 3:08 AM in the UK and at 1:08 PM in Australia. Also significantly, Venus (newly ingressed) in Libra squares Pluto an hour after the New Moon, triggering the T-square.

It’s natural to feel vulnerable now. There are likely to be important financial and emotional matters to address, and all of our relationships are more than likely to be in focus.

But the planets suggest that we do what we can to rise above insecurity and find self-confidence. Avoid engaging in power struggles; instead, act from the wisdom of the heart to find mutual compromise.

It’s a quiet Sunday morning here in NYC. I know it’s been forever since I have written on the blog. I’ve still been here doing Consultations and writing, but with all else that life seems to be throwing at me at the moment, there’s been little time or energy for anything else.
