We’re heading towards a powerful Scorpio Full Moon exact at 11:08 AM UT on May 17, 2011, so the Moon will be fullest on Monday night in most parts of the world.
This lunation takes place at 26+ Scorpio and the Sabian Symbol for 27 Scorpio reads, “A Military band marches noisily on through 
the city streets.” According to Dane Rudhyar the keyword for this symbol is “pomp,” and his Keynote reads: “The aggressive glorification of cultural values.”
As the Moon grows, it opposes Mercury and Venus in the last degree of Libra-Aries before it enters Scorpio at 4:31 PM UT, 12:01 PM EST on May 15, 2011. Also Mercury and Venus leave Aries and enter Taurus on May 16, 2011 and will sextile Neptune at the time of the lunation.
As the planets change signs and the Moon grows full over the next couple of days moving from Libra to Scorpio we can expect the emotional tide to intensify and rise, leading to a deep transformation and resurrection with important personal commitments, relationships especially sexual, intimate relationships and financial situations.

On a personal note, I returned from Goa a few days ago after a much-needed break away from the busy-ness of the city. It was 
nice to relax with an old friend, catch some sun and lay around in the sand watching the stars at night. We even saw a couple of shooting stars!
And more and more I realize how much I need this ‘space’ everyday and not just for a few stolen moments a year. With Aquarius on my IC — I’m never freer or more at home than under the stars and a wide-open sky.
Also, it’s my Solar Return tomorrow and as I look back, it’s been a long journey this past year and over these past few months of rediscovering myself. But with this Full Moon conjunct my Ascendant, I’m feeling the deep tug of surrender and look forward to the changes this will
bring…
