Welcome to the Chinese New Year!
…and the second Aquarius New Moon of the year – a rather unusual one – straddling the cusp of Pisces at 29’ 59” degrees Aquarius.
We’re entering a passionate cycle, buzzing with possibilities, all building up to dramatic and magical crescendo as the Virgo Full Moon peaks on Mar. 6, 2014 bringing a culmination to events beginning with this cycle.
Currently — Mercury is moving through its final shadow phase and will clear shadow on Mar. 4, 2016 (among other aspects) just before the Full Moon on March 6, 2015.
Communication that has gone haywire, should hopefully start to get easier, offering the chance to clear the air, misunderstandings and reach a deeper understanding of the options available.
But perhaps most significantly, over the past day and a half, Mars and Venus have both left Pisces to enter Aries bringing to the surface fiery undeniable passions and attractions. And you can expect fireworks this weekend.
Venus and Mars meet in conjunction less than 24 hours from now on Feb. 22, 2015 at 01+ Aries. (If you head out tonight, under clear skies, you should see the two of them hanging out by the crescent Moon also in Aries.)
Anytime Venus and Mars get together relationships start to heat up, as do creative and financial situations. Something that’s been brewing a while, is reaching a climax. Mars is the seed of life, Venus ‘the womb,’ and in Aries, this conjunction is seeding, powerful new beginnings.
Venus and Mars have just moved from Pisces to Aries. Pisces is the 12th sign that represents the cosmic void, what’s unseen, behind the veil, all that is. Aries is the 1st sign of the zodiac – born out of Pisces, where the un-manifest becomes manifest and comes alive.
This energy is playful, curious and fearless. This is the fire of creation. But like a child playing with fire, this can be dangerous and destructive if handled unconsciously. This means having self-awareness of your desires, fears, past pain, resentments, anger and triggers; as well as any tendency to be selfish or self-centered which will never take you far.
A situation where you feel the heat holds fertile, lucrative potential. But proceed slowly, with caution. Then you needn’t fear getting ahead of yourself, burned or acting in the heat of the moment and later regretting it.
It will require more than passion to sustain something, but don’t doubt there’s something birthing in the part of your chart represented by Aries. And don’t underestimate the power of this energy allowing you to create something beautiful out of seemingly nothing.

On a personal note, this Mercury retrograde took place in my 10th Solar House and I’ve been working through every unforseen technical issue imaginable starting from a crashed hard-disk to a crashed mailing list, mounting deadlines, backlogged email and current projects, while I simply try to keep up with back-end stuff and life. This has also eaten away from my Blog writing, something I enjoy as a daily meditation and my way of giving back.
I finally managed to escape to the beach, get some much needed space to clear my head and catch up. I’m slowly but surely starting to make headway (the sea is a great healer) but I’m working with limited Internet access, so if you’ve emailed me recently and are waiting to hear back from me for over a week, please feel free to re-send your email.
Also, I’m offering a discounted rate of $500 (usual $550) on a special Venus-Mars package of four Consultations, until the Full Moon March 6, 2015.
==
Venus-Mars Consultation package – 4 x 60 min Astrology Consultations – $500 (purchase by Mar. 6, 2
These can be used as regular Consultations over a period of 4 months. Or as an opportunity to dive into the three Venus-Mars conjunctions this year, look at what they activate in your chart, the story being played out and how you can get the most out of the potential the conjunctions offer — in your relationships, financial situations and creative projects — especially those beginning now.
All Consultations booked now will be scheduled starting the second week of March, so please book early if you want to be guaranteed an early appointment.
I’ll be back with more astrology soon, probably around the Full Moon. But I’ve interpreted the conjunction and other aspects in detail in the Aquarius New Moon report, sent out to the Cosmic Diaries subscribers, covering the astrology over the next two weeks leading up to the Virgo Full Moon. Below is an excerpt.
Wishing you a fun and passionate weekend!
With Love from Goa,

“There are powerful aspects unfolding over the next two weeks as we move to the Virgo Full Moon two weeks from now.
“Life could leave you more than a little breathless; this is not for the faint-hearted, and you’d be wise to buckle your seat-belt over the next few weeks. But don’t underestimate the sheer fiery, creative, fertile potential of this energy to kick-start whatever initiate.
“The Sun and Moon enter Pisces immediately following the New Moon. Then on Feb. 20, 2015 Mars enters his home sign Aries followed immediately by Venus, hot on his trail within 24 hours; and Venus and Mars meet in conjunction on Feb. 22, 2015 igniting deep passionate desires.
“There’s romance, fun, excitement, creative, lucrative financial potential, sexual passion and (dare I say) love, in the air. But this could even trigger fears surrounding abandonment, betrayal, being burned or perhaps anger or pain from the past.
“In Aries, this is a phase of initiation and this is pure, raw, primal energy. You’re playing with fire here, so proceed with awareness. And be conscious so you aren’t projecting either fear or desire.
“In an existing relationship, this is a chance to discover someone all over again. If you meet someone new, acknowledge your desires, and then you won’t confuse love with lust…” — Priya Kale, Aquarius New Moon report. Read Full Report.
