Welcome to the Libra Total Lunar Eclipse and Full Moon exact in a few hours at 7:05 AM EDT; 12:05 PM GMT and 5:35 PM INT on April 4, 2015 at 14′ 24″ degrees of the Libra-Aries axis. (If you aren’t lucky enough to catch it in the sky, here’s a link to watch it LIVE online.)
We’re reaching the culmination of a powerful two week Eclipse period that began with the Pisces Solar Eclipse at 29+ Pisces, on March 20, 2015.
As the Sun and Moon align at 14+ degrees of Aries – Libra, they form a perfect T-square with Pluto bringing home, and moving us forward from, the lessons of the past two and half years since the Pluto – Uranus squares first aligned.
Also this Eclipse conjuncts the North Node, an important indicator of the forces at play drawing us ever closer to our destiny.
This Eclipse is in my 11th Natal house (friends) and 6th Solar house (health/work.) I was really sick and unwell for the past two weeks (I rarely fall ill, maybe once in a few years) and I’m just about coming back to life and a mountain of work. And I’ve heard of at least five different friends (some of whom I haven’t been in touch with for ages) going through intense transformations.
You don’t need astrology to tell you the energy is shifting powerfully — you can feel it. But still I can’t stress enough the potency of the planetary alignment allowing for major breakthroughs over the coming days.
Especially, if you have planets around the 14-15 degrees of the Cardinal signs, Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn — you can be sure to be feeling this Eclipse most personally and profoundly. Get out of your head, into your body and move slowly. We’re also moving to a direct Jupiter station on April 8, 2015 (Jupiter has been retrograde since Dec. 8, 2015) adding to the dramatic revelations, spilling forth.
Also very significantly, today marks Hanuman Jayanti, the birthday of Lord Hanuman, an ardent devotee of Lord Rama. Hanuman was the Sun of Lord Vayu (Wind God – Air/Libra) and there’s an interesting story about his childhood, which also gives us deep insight into the current energy (especially as the Sun moves to a conjunction to Uranus after the Eclipse) and the living myth.
From Wikipedia: “As a child, believing the sun to be a ripe mango, Hanuman pursued it in order to eat it. Rahu, a Vedic planet corresponding to an eclipse, was at that time seeking out the sun as well, and he clashed with Hanuman. Hanuman thrashed Rahu and went to take sun in his mouth.[19] Rahu approached Indra, king of devas, and complained that a monkey child stopped him from taking on Sun, preventing the scheduled eclipse. This enraged Indra, who responded by throwing the Vajra (thunderbolt) at Hanuman, which struck his jaw. He fell back down to the earth and became unconscious. A permanent mark was left on his chin (हनुः hanuḥ “jaw” in Sanskrit), due to impact of Vajra, explaining his name.[12][20] Upset over the attack, Hanuman’s father figure Vayu deva (the deity of air) went into seclusion, withdrawing air along with him. As living beings began to asphyxiate, Indra withdrew the effect of his thunderbolt. The devas then revived Hanuman and blessed him with multiple boons to appease Vayu.[12]“

Libra Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse
April 4, 2016, marks the Full Moon and Libra Lunar Eclipse at 14+ degrees with the Sun at 14+ Aries.
Full Moon’s bring revelations, completion and a chance for closure and with a Lunar Eclipse in Libra — the sign of “marriage” and relationships — relationships are changing deeply. With the Aries-Libra there is a need for balance between your needs and the needs of others. There are major revelations surfacing bringing you to a crossroad, presenting you with important choices.
With the Sun at the South Node and the Moon at the North Node, avoid impulsive action or reaction. If anything throws you off balance, triggers panic or any heated emotions, take a deep breath before you react. In a tug of war it may be wiser to let go of the rope and give something space to balance out.
With the Sun moving to a conjunction to Uranus only days after the Eclipse on April 6, 2015, on the same days as Mercury trines Jupiter (about to station to direct) in Leo, you can expect huge dramatic revelations, unexpected developments and conversations as the energy of the Eclipse spills over. So be patient as more information surfaces.
Trust what’s unfolding is levelling out the playing field, allowing for greater equality and co-operation. If the scales are imbalanced everybody loses. And you’re learning how much more there is to hope for in a situation.
Avoid holding on to expectations, but be honest with yourself about what you want and how you feel. Then you can communicate honestly, respond consciously and creatively, (rather than (self) destructively) and find a way to restore peace, balance and harmony in any situation that has gotten heated.
Very significantly, Pluto is in a T-square to the lunation — offering the point of transformation and resolution. There is the potential to break through patterns of co-dependency and conditioning; especially, surrounding the traditional roles in relationships that you’ve seen in childhood, between parents, caregivers and or society.
Look at how far you’ve come over the past two years as the Uranus-Pluto squares aligned. You have a chance to leave the past behind you. Do it consciously and with awareness of who you are today and the future you wish to create. Remember your lessons and you can make wise choices.
With Cancer being the missing sign on the Grand Cross — a little sensitivity will go a long way. You can’t force another to change, but it takes two to tango. Change yourself and you will automatically change the dynamic in a situation or relationship.
We cannot control the world, or anything external. We can barely control ourselves. And really this is not about controlling, but achieving a state of emotional balance — as suggested by the Moon in Libra. We are meant to experience all emotions, joy, happiness, sadness and even pain — they are all a part of the human experience. In allowing ourselves to feel and release our emotions consciously, we can return to a state of equilibrium.
We’re reaching the culmination of the cycle that began with the Pisces New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse. Pisces is the sign of “spirituality,” People are trying so hard to be spiritual they’ve forgotten how to be human.
There is an easier, sweeter, more peaceful way forward. At best we are interdependent creatures and our relationships are a mirror. This Eclipse is not only revealing to you how you feel about your relationships, your relationships too are reflecting an important truth to you about yourself.
Find your humanity then you can be liberated to experience your divinity.
