A very Happy New Year and a happy Cancer Full Moon to you!

We’re just past a fecund Cancer Full Moon, which occurred on Jan. 1, 2017 at 9:24 PM EST, in opposition to the Sun, Venus, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn.

At the time of the lunation, the Full Moon was in a Grand Water Trine to Neptune in Pisces and Mars and Jupiter in Scorpio; and perhaps most significantly Uranus stationed direct in Aries for the final time, before it ingresses Taurus in May — ending its transit through Aries since 2010.

This lunation is opening the floodgates and doors to new possibilities and potential — in relationships, personal, business, creative and financial situations. It will require commitment, maturity, dedication, and love, to nurture something that’s birthing. But if you do the rewards will far outweigh the efforts.

Currently the Moon is in Leo, and will move through the sign over the next two days asking you to bold, adventurous, and seize the day. There are new desires emerging, fanning passion, propelling you into the unknown. Above all, trust and follow your heart.

With the Moon Full in Cancer (its home sign) this is the fullness of the energy — pay attention to your inner child, and learn to parent it with love, and right nourishment – emotional, physical, spiritual, and otherwise.

Above all remember the Universe is a divine mother who knows what you need, without even having to ask. All that is asked of us is to surrender to the ebb and flow of life…
