Come gather ’round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You’ll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth savin’
Then you better start swimmin’ or you’ll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin’
— Bob Dylan
We’re entering the Dark of the Moon now, heading towards a powerful Cancer New Moon on July 8, 2013 at 2:14 AM EDT; 7:14 AM GMT and 12:44 PM INT.
Significantly Saturn stations direct in Scorpio on the same day and this lunation seems to be opening up the floodgates for what’s to come later in the month as two Grand Trines align in water and earth signs.

“As you move through this week, and the Moon disappears in the sky, this is a time for deep review, release, reflection, letting go and metamorphosis before there can be clarity and re-birth.”
I wish you a very Happy New Moon and I’ll see you on the other side…

“July brings things to a boil… and how!
“There is an abundance of water energy in the sky and here on earth and Cancer is certainly the flavor of the month. With the Sun, New Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter all moving through Cancer through the middle of the month — expect this to be an emotional period, with issues of “security,” home, family and belonging surfacing.
“In highlights this month: Mercury continues its retrograde phase before stationing direct on July 20, 2013, Saturn stations direct on July 8, 2013, Venus and Mars change signs on July 13 and July 22, 2013 respectively; Uranus stations retrograde on July 17, 2013, and Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune meet in an exact Grand Water Trine on July 17 and 18, 2013.”
“On July 8, 2013, just hours after Saturn’s direct station, the Cancer New Moon occurs at 16+ degrees marking a profound new cycle. Look at where Cancer falls in your chart — both Solar and Natal — that’s where all the action is right now. And what would you do if you could turn back time?
“For all the fog, feeling of being clogged and emotional uncertainty, things should start to flow again with the New Moon.
“On July 9, 2013 the Sun and Mercury meet in an inferior conjunction suggesting a moment of deep clarity. Pay attention to your feelings, let go of thought, perception and allow the mind to become a vessel for what is coming through. Then you can begin to see something in a new light, reaching a deeper understanding of a situation and what needs to happen next. “— Priya Kale, July 2013 Cosmic Weather.
