Hello from a rainy, windy New York,
I just finished writing the Scorpio New Moon report and it is now ready for download. It turned out to be much longer than I expected (Mercury was conjunct my natal Pluto at the time I was writing it!) and I almost had to force myself to stop. You can read an excerpt below this post…
Hope you are having a good weekend!

Scorpio New Moon, an excerpt —
“Perhaps the biggest herald for change and revolution and the aspect dominating our lives at this moment of the New Moon is the Saturn-Uranus opposition. Making its first exact aspect on the day of the US Presidential election – Nov. 4, 2008; the first in a series of five oppositions over the next two years; the next one comes just in time on Feb. 5, 2008 for the Presidential swearing in ceremony. The timing is almost too ironic for words, suggesting to me whatever happens at this election is most likely not the end of the story. There’s another chapter due to unfold; let’s just hope enough people are willing to have their voice heard. This is what I had to say about the opposition in an article I wrote last year, highlighting the events of 2008.
“‘Revolution is in the air and this aspect is sure to shake a few trees; we are being challenged to open up to a higher stream of consciousness. Unlike Pluto’s transformation — which is a slow process of stripping away, this is mor¬e like having a bucket of cold water wake you from ignorant slumber.’
“I should have added economic crises along side the ecological, recent developments on this front have certainly felt like having a bucket of ice water dumped on our heads and down our pants. This, while Pluto in Sagittarius has indeed been trying to awaken us to higher truth for a decade – greed needs to be replaced, higher values and a spiritual truth restored. The Saturn-Uranus opposition is unequivocally saying, ‘If we don’t get it now the jokes going to be on us, only no one is laughing’.
“Here also we see Scorpio themes emerge, which makes it especially poignant at the time of the New Moon and a new cycle. Taurus is about values when reflected in Scorpio, we see where our values merge with that of another, there is a pooling of resources; which is why Scorpio is also considered the sign of commerce. Money, breeds’ greedy vicious hands, and hungry for the power it wields, taking us into darker waters of Scorpio energy. But money, if used with a greater sense of values, not to be possessed alone – but for the greater good and betterment of community, can be an actual force for the kind of positive change the phoenix inspires. This is about shared values and shared resources.”
