Dear Friends,
Last week was action packed and brought a basketful of surprises, especially where relationships were concerned.
Tonight the Sun leaves Libra and enters Scorpio marking a distinct shift in the energy. Relationships are evolving deeply now and there may be darker, difficult truths to confront. The more we can let go of superficial attachments to sex, money, power, control we can enter a space that allows for true intimacy and healing.
On Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 the Sun will make it’s annual conjunction to Saturn on the same day as Mercury makes a conjunction the North Node bringing us a message from our destiny. This is the first Sun-Saturn conjunction in Scorpio marking the end and beginning of an era, giving us a glimpse into the lessons of the coming two and a half years of Saturn’s journey through the sign.
Also with Mars moving towards an opposition to Jupiter on Oct. 28, 2012 a day before the Full Moon in Taurus. There are huge choices to be made and there may be battles lines being drawn. But there is a mystery unfolding and we are in the thick of change. It would be best to surrender all expectations as we stay in touch with a core unchanging reality.
This is ego death at it’s best. And the more we can surrender the ego, we can find inner strength, integrity, wisdom and courage to rise to a challenge rather than feel oppressed, defeated or like we have to fight to stay alive. Then something solid can rise form the ashes of the past showing us what is real and of value.
On a personal note — I will be traveling to India on Oct. 29, 2012 on the day of the Taurus Full Moon. As of now I plan to be there through the winter so I look forward to bringing you more astrology from the homeland.
