Hello from a rainy New York,

We are now heading towards the Sagittarius Full Moon exact on Sunday June 7, 2009 at 1:11PM EST; 6:11PM UT and on Monday June 8, 2009 at 4:11 AM AEST. This is a potent lunation with the Sun squaring Saturn today making a T-square to the Saturn-Uranus opposition as the Full Moon sweeps in to complete the Grand Cross in the mutable signs.

We can expect a shift and release with this lunation — the mutable signs are all about change. Today as the Sun squares Saturn, with Moon still growing Full in Scorpio we are likely to be feeling this energy intensely. With the Sun in Gemini squaring Saturn in Virgo we are likely to be feeling pressure and anxiety, perhaps to make a difficult choice or the feeling of being stuck and blocked. But a square suggests an internal blockage rather than an external one and if we are able to overcome the inner critical voice that warns of misjudgment, we can turn a corner.

Right now, with the Moon in Scorpio, do all you can to release negative emotions and thoughts of darkness and despair. Scorpio is about emotional transformation and release and and with the Full Moon in Sagittarius we are being promised a resurrection of spirit if we are willing to keep faith even in the face of extreme pressure.

Tomorrow Venus enters her home sign Taurus after her long stay in Aries. This is decidedly a more comfortable placement for the planet where she can express her natural sensuality and gifts with ease.
