We’re in the Dark of the Moon in Taurus, moving to Gemini New Moon on June 8, 2013 @ 11:56 AM EDT; 5:56 PM GMT and at 9:26 PM INT.

This phase of the Moon, also known as the Balsamic Phase, is a time for deep release of the past and also can be a deeply prophetic time. There is simultaneously the awareness of what one is leaving behind, even as we plant new seeds.

Also, Mercury and Venus are both in Cancer now (with the Sun and Jupiter to follow later this month,) forming a Grand Water Trine to Neptune in Pisces and Saturn in Scorpio; moving towards oppositions to Pluto and squares to Uranus.

With an abundance of water energy in the sky things could get pretty emotional and slippery all at once. Life will always have its ebb and flow. But think of this as deep sea diving — deep beneath the surface of the wildly crashing waves — there are pearls to be found.

You can trust your intuition and feelings now — they are very real. But Mars is in square to Neptune, suggesting you be very honest with oneself and in no denial. Perception and belief have little to do with reality. So it is important you check your facts, clear perception and release residual emotions. Only then can you be the voice of objective reason, truth and change.

For now as the Moon trines Pluto and disappears in the sky, ground your self in what is real then you won’t need to hold on to anything.

Gemini is a reminder, pleasure and pain are two side of a coin, we can’t feel one without the other. Incidentally, a year ago Venus made her transit of the Sun. Where were you then? And who were you with? And where are you now? And are you going where you would like to be headed? You can make different choices now, if you recognize each moment is new to choose again. You can choose to be “right”, or you can choose to be happy and choose to love…

The exalted Taurus Moon is a reminder that the only constant in life is change. This transience of life is what makes life in the flesh and this eternal moment so sacred and precious, that all we can do is cherish it. This too shall pass…
