I cried like a baby last night, along with millions of people on the planet for the sheer hope that it brought. It was almost an unbelievable ending, I say that not because I doubted Obama’s victory but just that it was announced so quickly, given the way the recent past elections have played out. But the Sun rose this morning, probably brighter than it has in a while. My heart is happy and I feel good.
But I just hope that people are aware of the deep shit we are already in and will extend him the trust and support, to even start clearing this mess up. Its always easy to put someone up on a pedestal to watch him crash. He may have an air of divinity to him, but he is human — and yet just as divine as you or me, for the power of the infinite lives in us all. Its moments like this in history that make you really humbled and in awe of what ONE person can do inspire HOPE for many. Thats a leader, because he knows his strength is in the people and he knows how to get them to work with him, as he works for them, us, him, his children and ours. Maybe at some point in the near future I will do a little blog looking at his chart. I’ve looked at it of course, and this man is SOLID if he is anything.
But getting back to the aspects of the day: today, Venus in Sagittarius sextiles Neptune in Aquarius and Mars in Scorpio sextiles Logos in Virgo. Early this morning the Moon entered Aquarius the sign of collective consciousness and people. and will conjunct the North Node and Neptune and aspect Venus.
The aspects together suggest, not only is there a real possibility to envision an idealistic dream, but also the passion and neat analytical skills to help navigate darker waters of the sticky fiscal situation. With the Moon also now in Aquarius, clearly the hope and optimism of the collective is on the rise. We are one together. I leave you with the quote from President Lincoln that President Elect Obama (God, I love saying that) used in his speech last night. Its true for the heart of a patriot as much as it is for the heart of a devotee, friend or lover.
“We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave, to every living heart and hearth-stone, all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.” — Abraham Lincoln

Warmly, lovingly and overwhelmingly emotionally,
