Cancer Full Moon: High Tide…

Dear Friends,

We enter this week on a big note. Last night marked the Cancer Full Moon and as we come down from this energy, emotions are running high and there may be a sense of being rather overwhelmed with all that we are dealing with.

With the Sun in Capricorn there is work to be done. But the Cancer Moon is a reminder to keep sight of what is most important — one’s family, health and sense of security. All the success in the world would mean nothing if we couldn’t share it with those we love.

Nurture yourself, the people you care about, get rest, nourishing food and let the emotions wash through. Also look at what you are ‘feeding’ a situation, negativity breeds negativity. The more we can let go of negative, fearful emotions we can rise above insecurities and reclaim our authority.

Currently Mercury is in a solid trine to Jupiter suggesting as long as we realistic about our goals, we can work to manifest our most hopeful vision.

On a personal note, to give you a sense of how beautifully astrology works here is what’s going on with me: As a Taurus, I have Cancer on my 3rd house — which deals with communication, writing, transportation. For a week my car (3rd House – transportation) is heating up in the dead of winter, I’m running out of groceries (Cancer) and I haven’t been able to reach a mechanic (communication.) I finally have someone who may come look at the car today, and I can’t afford a new one, so praying (and I ask for your prayers) that it is a minor issue and will be fixed.

To add to that, I have my plate full with writing (3rd house theme) deadlines at work, I’m trying to keep my deadline for the 2012 Horoscopes, my mailings to my subscribers and I may need to fill in for another Astrology column for a friend. But the Sun is in my 9th house, a reminder to me to keep my sense of perspective, keep sight of my goals, have faith that God knows and takes care of all my needs; and a knowing that this too shall pass…

Later this week as well there are important aspects building up, as Mercury (now in Capricorn) moves towards a conjunction with Pluto, Venus conjuncts Neptune, the Sun trines Mars, and Saturn trines Neptune (and Venus) suggesting we can make solid progress this week.

Just pace yourself and be gentle with yourself and others. If we move past perceptions, let go of obsessions, defeatist attitudes and make a conscious mind shift then we can see what is in our power to do, to make our most hopeful dreams a reality, or perhaps begin to recognize how sweet reality already is.
