Tighten your seatbelts… The Moon entered Aries at 11:22 AM EDT on Oct. 20, 2010 and is headed toward a powerful Aries Full Moon at the end of the week on Oct. 22, 2010 at 9:36 PM EDT with plenty of aspects and activity among major planets.

Over the past couple of days, the Sun (in conjunction to Mercury) trined Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius. This brought deep truths to the surface, offering a chance to clear the air and hopefully to reach a deeper understanding. There are always two sides to a story, but ultimately, there are some truths that cannot be denied.

Today (Wednesday), Mercury enters Scorpio at 5:18 PM EDT (to join Mars, Venus and Vesta), where it will remain for the next three weeks. Expect communication to get deeper and more mysterious. At the time of the Full Moon, Mercury will sextile Pluto.

There may be secrets coming to light, but this harmonious aspect suggests that we could unearth something rather fertile and precious, if we can look past the darkness. It’s definitely a chance to evolve past cultural and social perceptions to a deeper core reality.

Also later today (Wednesday), at 9:41 PM EDT, Mars in Scorpio trines Jupiter in Pisces and then will trine Uranus on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 at 10:54 AM EDT.

On Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, only hours before the Full Moon, Mars squares Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius, and there may be painful realizations to deal with, but the gift here is one of healing and awareness.

There are plenty of lies, deceit, doubt, paranoia, mistrust and accusations flying around, but the worst lies are the ones we tell ourselves. Avoid projection of your wounds. If something hurts or scares you, look inward before looking for someone or something to blame or before you start to fear that someone is out to get you or will judge you.

The square to Chiron is a chance for deep, energetic evolution and cleansing if we are brutally honest with ourselves about inner demons. Then we can learn to distinguish fact from fiction and projection. Only in awareness can there be healing, and denial will ultimately only bring more pain and confusion.

Mars’ trines to planets in Pisces suggests a discovery of endless depth and miracles just when we thought all hope was lost. It requires courage to dive deep and surrender to the unknown. But the Divine works in mysterious ways, and sometimes we have to follow the music in our soul.

Today’s aspect to Jupiter is bringing an opportunity to reach for a hopeful dream. Here’s a verse from Don’t Dream It’s Over by Crowded House that sums up this astrology better than my prose…

There is freedom within, there is freedom without
Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup
There’s a battle ahead, many battles are lost
But you’ll never see the end of the road
While you’re traveling with me
Hey now, hey now
Don’t dream it’s over

Immediately after Friday’s Full Moon, the Sun and Moon will change signs from Libra-Aries to Scorpio and Taurus respectively. As the Sun moves into Scorpio, it joins Venus retrograde, Mars, Vesta and Mercury.

This Full Moon to me seems like it brings full disclosure and revelation, followed by deep intrigue and the mystery of something almost miraculously changing form. With Mars, the ruler of Aries, making aspects at the time of this Full Moon, expect a wild ride. You can either dance in the rain or complain about your hair getting wet.

We’ve come a long way even in the past four weeks since the time of the first Aries Full Moon last month. This, the second Full Moon in the sign this year, at 29+ degrees of the Aries-Libra, marks the culmination of lessons we’ve been learning over the past year (really, three years) in relationships.

With all the Scorpio energy, relationships and financial, creative and deeply personal situations are undergoing profound transformations and evolutions. The seeming end of the road is only a promise of the resurrection of what is “real.”

There is an opportunity now for self-awareness that can allow us to see how our actions contribute to the balance and/or imbalance of the greater whole. Whether consciously or unconsciously, we attract into our lives the people and events that we need to help us along on our personal journeys of spiritual growth and evolution.

It takes two to tango, and the more that one is honest with oneself and others while taking responsibility for one’s actions, needs and insecurities, the greater the chances of mutual success, cooperation and progress.

I’ll be back with the Aries Full Moon report. In the meanwhile, I will be here and available for Personal Consultations, so please email me at priya@priyakale.com to schedule an appointment. I look forward to working with you!

With love,

Priya

Each piece is uniquely, individually designed and handcrafted in solid wood. Incidentally, she was born at the time of the last Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Libra (in her 5th house) — which speaks volumes about her creativity and art — aesthetically beautiful, ethereal, solid and brimming with devotion.
