Here we are in the New Year… And life is certainly palpably different, with people and circumstances either leaving or returning under rather mysterious, perhaps volatile circumstances. But the Moon was in Pisces through the weekend bringing a much needed time to just unwind from the year end festivities before we dive into the New Year.
If you don’t feel like you’ve gotten anywhere with your resolutions, there is still time to break and let go of old patterns, as you reach for new goals. On Monday, the Moon enters Aries at 3., reaching its First Quarter over the next couple of days, bringing a significant turning point from the time of the New Moon.
As much as there may seem to be an urgency now, perhaps even anger, or a feeling of powerlessness still it would be wise to look before you leap or lash out. Anger too has its place, but without awareness you could burn yourself and defeat your own purpose.
Slow and steady wins the race. And truth ultimately, always triumphs. This is an inner awakening of your power, authority and freedom to make authentic choices rooted in your integrity.
On Jan. 7, 2014 Mercury conjuncts retrograde Venus in Capricorn, bringing deeper truths to the surface. This conjunction occurs at 23+ Capricorn, the sign of the recent New Moon conjunct Pluto — whatever you thought was all lost, it isn’t.
There is valuable information or an opportunity you thought you missed, making its way to you. But you will let go of perception, assumption, fixed opinions and dig deep. Then you can learn what you need to know.
