Good morning Thursday!
It’s been a long couple of weeks here in the cave. For those of you who have been waiting for patiently for the 2009 horoscopes — I had planned to have them out today but unfortunately they aren’t ready yet. But that’s the bad news; the good news is that there is much to feel hopeful for this year. I’m deeper in the astrology than I expected and am excited with the way the horoscopes are shaping up (the word count is now over 2000 for each sign.) Below you can read an excerpt from the Capricorn 2009 Year Ahead… Happy Birthday Capricorn…
I would like to announce a date, but truthfully would rather get this done right than risk sending out horoscopes with missing information. It will surely be before the eclipse and am aiming for the Mercury-Jupiter conjunction on the weekend as the next best astrological window for release but will be back in a day or two with an update. In the meanwhile I am working as fast and thoroughly as I can. I deeply appreciate your patience at this time and apologize for any inconvenience. If you haven’t ordered your horoscope yet and would like to avail of the current price you can do so at this link.
Checking in with the astrology over the next few days — there are no aspects between major planets until the quarter Moon on the weekend when Mercury conjuncts Jupiter in Aquarius and the Sun conjuncts Juno in Capricorn. Also, we are now in eclipse season and events taking place in our life now have a profound message for our future.
A lot has surfaced since this recent Cancer Full Moon and it’s likely we’ve seen the power of emotions to overtake us if we are not careful to be reflective in our responses. Mercury’s retrograde station at the time of the lunation may have brought shocking truths to the surface. Its important we keep an open mind as we go through the coming weeks. A profound insight could come our way as a result of the Mercury-Jupiter conjunction giving us a second chance at something we thought was lost or couldn’t make sense of before.
Jupiter in Aquarius is a message of faith, optimism and expanding our boundaries. Choose wisely, as decisions we make now have the ability to shape destiny.
And if I told you that I loved you
You’d maybe think there’s something wrong
I’m not a man of too many faces
The mask I wear is one
Those who speak know nothing
And find out to their cost
Like those who curse their luck in too many places
And those who fear are lostI know that the spades are the swords of a soldier
I know that the clubs are weapons of war
I know that diamonds mean money for this art
But that’s not the shape of my heart
That’s not the shape of my heart— Sting, Shape of My Heart, Ten Summoner’s Tales

Capricorn Year Ahead 2009 an excerpt
==
“With the triple conjunction of Jupiter, Chiron and Aquarius in your 2nd house your values are undergoing a rapid change. You are an independent person with healthy sense of self-confidence, but secretly you may crave the approval of your peers. It is crucially important now that you keep a focus and awareness of your values separate from those of the people around you. Recognize now, the balance and difference between what is yours and what belongs to someone else — values, opinions and emotional and financial desires. Who decides what you want? Who decides your worth? Who do you measure it against? Accept your quirks and crazier impulses, the ones that only few people know about you and the ones you rarely let on, even to yourself. How you feel about yourself ultimately translates into your being able to attract the kind of love, money or success into your life that you feel you are worthy of. You cannot make something go away by ignoring it, but you can change it by acknowledging and accepting its existence.
“You are in the position to expand your sense of self-worth, as well as your material and emotional well being in an unimaginable way — as long as you are careful to stay grounded through this process. Neptune and Chiron have been in this part of your chart for a while now. Neptune’s effect can be as nebulous as it can be a pure reflective mirror. It’s like a lake that can reflect back the moon on a calm night and the ripples on a stormy night can cause a completely distorted image. These ripples are the “mind,” and the serenity represents the time when we use Neptunian unbounded energy to make contact with the soul in the absence of the mind and it’s thoughts. Chiron is a centaur planet whose energy is one of raising consciousness through whatever means possible and its manifestation directly depends on the ability to find one’s center in the midst of chaos. It makes us aware of wounds so they can then be healed rather then let them fester. With Jupiter in close conjunction this process is due to accelerate rapidly over this coming year….” — Priya Kale, Capricorn 2009 Horoscope
