Happy Halloween and All Saints Day,

It’s exactly midnight as I write this [unplanned] and the Moon is in Aries growing full, adding a haunting backdrop to this holiday. We are heading towards the Taurus Full Moon on Nov. 2, 2009 at 2:13 PM EST at 10+ degrees. So the Moon will be the fullest on Sunday night in North America and on Monday night in UK and Australia.

Tonight the veil between the ‘worlds’ is said to be the thinnest. With the Sun in Scorpio soon to oppose the Taurus Full Moon, this is when the spirit world can most easily make contact with the physical world and vice-versa. If we can be receptive, we could be open to receiving subtler psychic signals from this world and beyond.

Within hours of the lunation; Mars in Leo squares Mercury in Scorpio, Venus in Libra trines Neptune in Aquarius. Given the natural intensity of the Sun in Scorpio and earthy Taurus Moon, this is bound to be highly charged energy. But the exalted Moon, is a reminder to stay rooted in what is real and of value in this ever-changing world.

On a personal note, I’m just about recovering from a week long bout with fever. I don’t fall ill often — once in two years when my body needs rest and its been one of those times. No surprise given this Full Moon will be closely conjunct my natal Moon.
