First the McCain camapaign released a web ad announcing “McCain wins debate” on Thursday afternoon, a full 24 hours before the debate and even before McCain had decided whether or not he’d participate.
Then today, the campaign released another web ad to the Washington Post op-ed page showing a photo of Governor Palin in her convention outfit (leading one to conclude that the ad was created before the debate aired) with the legend:
“She killed. It was her evening. She was the star.” – Famous Person (10.02.08)
Apparently, whoever was in charge forgot to find a famous person to whom they could attribute the quote before releasing the ad. Absolutely priceless.
They’ve taken the ad down. Too late, though, ‘cause I’ve got the screenshot:
