Mercury ingresses Gemini and sextiles Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Aries

It’s just after midnight on Thursday as I write this blog. Mercury is now past its square to Neptune and will ingress Gemini any minute now. Following the ingress in a few hours, Mercury sextiles the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Aries and squares Mars in Virgo.

Expect this to move stuck energy, with fiery new ideas and information blazing to consciousness including unexpected developments in major headline news stories. Personally as well, we could have important conversations that open up new avenues, or there could be unexpected information that surfaces. But it will require us to open our minds and be innovative in order to seize the incredible opportunities due to present themselves.

With the square to Mars in Virgo, beware of being your own worst enemy. Mars in Virgo can be critical energy and, if projected outward, this can tend to critical tendencies, argumentativeness and shooting down ideas before they are given a chance to flourish. Look for solutions rather than problems. If we are not part of the solution, then we are part of the problem, and squares require internal resolution. A brilliant idea may just require inner contemplation as to how to make something work. Be honest with yourself above all.

Currently the Moon is in Taurus, and it enters Gemini at 6:10 PM EDT on Thursday; until then ground your self in what is truly of value beyond the surface. Much of what happens over the next couple of days should move into high gear with the coming Gemini New Moon on Saturday. There is a sense of having a second chance or seeing things from an entirely new perspective.

Indeed, this is no ordinary climate we stand under. In a little over two weeks, we have the first Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn that completes a Grand Cross alignment with the other planets in the sky.

The wheels of destiny are being set in motion, making this New Moon an especially significant lunation, so pay attention to what you are giving your energy to. Something holds twice the potential we think and imagine, but it will require us to open the mind long enough to see the infinite possibilities within something.
