Dear Subscribers, Readers and Friends,

A quick hello and check-in with the sky… Today Venus in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn. Relationships are deepening, and this is very alchemical, profitable, lucrative and fertile energy for finance and business, but even on a personal level, there is gold to be mined.

We’ve been down this road before, it may seem, but there can be a real transformation if we let go of baggage and surrender to a deeper truth and reality. Go beneath the surface to discover true potential. You could be staring at a diamond in the rough, but it takes a special eye to see.

Meanwhile, there’s a Capricorn stellium building in the sky. Mars has just entered Capricorn to join Ceres, Pluto, Mercury and the North Node, with the Moon currently in the sign as well.

There is great desire and determination driving us toward our destiny, and all of this activity in Capricorn, the sign of the mountain goat, provides us with a reminder to stay focused, determined and on the path to reach the top of the mountain.

Mercury is slowing to a halt and will station retrograde on Dec. 10, 2010, heading backward until Dec. 30, 2010. Whatever it is you are dealing with right now, you can trust that there is more to the story yet to be unearthed. Don’t be afraid to dig deep; there is precious valuable information to be discovered.

Keep sight of your goals. By January 4, 2010 a powerful New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Capricorn soon after Mercury stations direct suggests that we will be ready to move forward then, armed with the information we need to make long-term plans.

Meanwhile, I’m counting the days till I say goodbye to my Upper East Side little studio, or what I like to call my ‘cave.’ I still don’t know when I’m leaving, nor where I’ll be going, but given the planets, I surrender.

Given the day, though, I may head out today to visit Strawberry Fields in Central Park if it isn’t too cold. I’m sure everyone and their mother will be there tomorrow. If I do, I’ll try to take pictures.

And speaking of mothers… a VERY Happy Birthday to mine! (I’ve certainly not been the easiest daughter, but I can only pray that one day I can be even half as great a mother as you’ve been to me.)
