We’re in the Dark of the Moon now as we head towards the Sagittarius New Moon on Dec. 13, 2012 at 8:41 AM GMT.
With the Moon currently waning in Scorpio as we enter this new cycle, now is the time to release the darker emotions as much as you can. Let go attachments to pleasure or pain or any particular outcome and surrender to 
a higher will.
Mercury is currently in the final degree of Scorpio. It enters Sagittarius (late Monday night in NYC, overnight in the UK) and squares Neptune in Pisces.
This aspect has been building for a couple of days and there may have been a lot of fog and confusion to cut through. There’s a sense of struggling with an impossible situation, where every answer begs a new question and it may not be easy to discern reality or truth from lies.
But rather than project suspicion or be in denial listen for an inner truth.
Mercury in Sagittarius is the heavenly messenger and in a square to Neptune it is offering us insight into a sublime inner reality.
As hard as it may be to hold on to faith right now, the Sagittarius New Moon heralds new hope dawning. And the more we can let go of the negativity and or pessimism, a vision can begin to crystallize and take shape.
Also early tomorrow on Dec. 11, 2012, the Moon, Venus and the North Node meet in a triple conjunction. After its conjunction to Venus the Moon goes Void of course at 8:08 AM in NYC. Financial situations and relationships are being highlighted and changing deeply now.
Confront and consciously let go of possessiveness, any desire to manipulate or control a situation, painful emotions like resentment and jealousy, attachments to wealth, material gain, hunger for power and or greed. This is alchemy and there is something golden birthing from these ashes that could change everything. And the conjunction on the North Node suggests a sort of date with destiny, or something deeply fated about what is unfolding now.
Venus in Scorpio is a reminder that, love is eternal. It cannot be controlled or possessed, it can only be shared and will last long after the flesh is gone.
As Khalil Gibran wrote in ‘The Prophet’, “And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.”
