Taurus Solar Eclipse and New Moon

An Excerpt ==

“Although we’re a few days past the exact Grand Cardinal Cross, with an alignment like this, especially leading up to a New Moon and Solar Eclipse in a fixed sign like Taurus, what’s unfolding is likely to reverberate for a lifetime, not just days or even months.

“The exact New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Taurus on Apr. 29, 2014 at 2:14 AM EDT at 8+ Taurus. At the time of the lunation the Sun and Moon sextile Neptune in Pisces and (along with Mercury) are applying in a trine to Pluto in Capricorn.

“Here is the interpretation for the Sabian Symbol of the lunation, taken from Dane Rudhyar’s “An Astrological Mandala: The Cycle of Transformations and Its 360 Symbolic Phases”

KEYNOTE: The ability to create inner happiness in dark hours.

In northern or mountainous countries where the Christmas tree symbol took form, we find a contrast between the tree outside – bare and normally covered with snow – and the tree inside the home – loaded with decorations and gifts for the family. If we follow up the meaning of the preceding symbol, we see that snow has come outside; but the prepared and closely united group has created abundance, beauty and happiness within, overcoming the cold barrenness of the outside world — just as man had overcome, in a previous symbol (Phase 35), the natural obstacle to his progress. The Christ symbol is also included in the background — that is, the vivid faith in a transformed future.

This fourth stage symbol suggests the ever-present possibility open to man to transfigure the darkness and deprivation of the low point of a life cycle by incarnating in it an antiphonic response celebrating the ever remembered and always expected high moments of life. It evokes man’s undying FAITH IN CYCLIC RENEWAL.

“We’ve weathered a rather stormy patch of astrology over the past month. With the Moon in its extreme waning phase, (triggering the Grand Cross) disappearing as we reach the New Moon, there is a sense of touching rock bottom, reaching ground zero, leveling out, perhaps even feeling a depletion of resources or energy or feeling emotionally depleted or drained. It may be natural to want to cling for fear of losing what you have.

“But Taurus is the sign of the earth — life itself. And you are learning through first hand experience the cycles of your life. This time before the New Moon and Solar Eclipse is a time for deep release, weeding out what’s unnecessary, clearing space. Any spring cleaning you do now, could be especially cathartic and healing. Let go of emotional baggage that weighs you down or prevents something new from entering your world.

“Nature abhors a vacuum and the less you hold on to what has outgrown its purpose, you can clear space to attract what you need with the new cycle — be material resources or even emotional security…” – Priya, Kale, Taurus New Moon and Solar Eclipse 2014. Read Full Report.

Happy Easter all…

The Sun is in now in Taurus, the Moon is in Capricorn. Here below is an audio I just recorded covering the astrology as we move through the coming week — through this incredible Grand Cardinal Cross — to the Taurus New Moon and Solar Eclipse on Apr. 29, 2014.

As intense as life seems right now, perhaps with a feeling of being crucified, trust what’s unfolding is paving the way for inevitable resurrection and new life.

Also, I’m currently wrapping up my 2014 – 2015 Annual Horoscope project. I had planned on releasing them around the end of this week.

While I’m doing my best to keep the deadline, this is also one of the most significant years of our lifetime and what unfolds this year is sure to reverberate in through your lifetime. So I’m also moving slow and thoroughly, so I don’t miss anything important. And I hope you will be patient as I complete these horoscopes which will prove useful for years to come.

Also, subscribers can look for the Taurus New Moon and Solar Eclipse report later this week. You can sign up here for a One Week Free Trial to receive this and the Libra Lunar Eclipse Audio, Monthly Horoscopes, Mars horoscopes, report, and other special reports in your email.
I’ll be back with more astrology soon. In the meanwhile, as you move through this week remember — patience pays.

Journeying through the Crossroads… : Grand Cardinal Cross, Hecate and Kelly Lee Phipps

A stone’s throw from Jerusalem
I walked a lonely mile in the moonlight
And though a million stars were shining
My heart was lost on a distant planet
That whirls around the April moon
Whirling in an arc of sadness
I’m lost without you I’m lost without you
Though all my kingdoms turn to sand
And fall into the sea
I’m mad about you I’m mad about you

April 2014 Monthly and Libra Lunar Eclipse Horoscopes

Important Note: I wrote majority of this Blog on Apr. 2, 2014 under the Sun-Uranus conjunction, and added a few edits yesterday as the Moon reached it’s First Quarter phase.

Dear Friends,

Here we are in April, one of the most anticipated (or not) months of the year with a rare Cardinal Grand Cross aligns on April 23, 2014 as Mars in Libra, Jupiter in Cancer, Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn align in the shape of a cross, forming 90 degree angles to each other with the Earth in the center.

There may be a feeling being stretched to the limit, pulled in four directions or cornered with no way out. But as the month progresses a situation is reaching critical mass, leading to a much needed breakthrough, restoring imbalances of power, paving the way for a new future.

Everything is up in the air and subject to change at a moment’s notice. There’s no point in trying to predict it. Or as Michael Lutin said “It’s not going to go down the way you think. It never does with Uranus. In fact if you predict it, it CAN’T happen.” But it’s also true, you have more options than you think. And it is the choices you make and how you respond to situations, that will determine how the story unfolds for you.

But before I get into the astrology, I’d like to take a moment to remember astrologer Kelly Lee Phipps, who passed away on Mar. 25, 2014 after his battle with brain cancer. Kelly’s contribution to astrology and the astrological community is invaluable. He was clearly loved by many, a true Aquarian in his ability to bring people together people, in life and in death.

It’s his memorial today, Apr. 2, 2015, and my heart and prayers are with his mother Brenda, son Arian, brother Jason, his family, friends and all who loved him. And I ask you to keep them in your prayers as well.

I remember meeting Kelly in Denver at the UAC where he gifted me a copy of his film Return of the Magi. Since then we exchanged a few emails over the years and Kelly was always very generous with his knowledge. Allthough I did not know Kelly very closely personally, his enthusiasm, spirit and energy was certainly unique and left a lasting impression and I know I’m not alone in that sentiment.

Last summer, just a few months before Kelly’s diagnosis, I happened to hear an interview he did in which he spoke of how people with a very strong Moon-Mercury aspects in their chart, carry the signature of the Hecate — the Greek Goddess of the cross-roads.

I have a Mercury-Moon conjunction in my chart and I related to this deeply. It had been years since I contacted him last, but I emailed him right away thanking him for sharing that. He wrote back right away saying he would send me a copy of the book and the section for Hecate when he was done. Again, I was blown away by his generosity and graciousness to a relative stranger.

Ever since I’ve been researching Hecate, her myth and astrological influence more closely, especially now as we stand at this particular “cross-roads” in our personal and global history.

Then a couple of days ago, as I reflected on life, death, Kelly and the current astrology, suddenly it came to me to look up the asteroid Hecate in this configuration. And go figure she is conjunct the North Node and Moon, to the degree, at the time of the Total Lunar Eclipse on April 15, 2014!  Her presence with that kind of precision, and the series of events that led up to discovering her position, tells me to pay attention. And I have Kelly to thank for pointing the way.

So pay attention to what comes through in the days following the Eclipse, this is showing you need to know, so you can make wise, pivotal, life-changing choices as the Grand Cross aligns on April 23, 2014.

On April 15, 2014 a Total Libra Lunar Eclipse aligns with the Moon, Hecate and the North Node in an exact conjunction at 25+ Libra marking major endings and new beginnings, especially in relationships, asking for a balance between personal needs and the needs of another or others.

As the Moon is shadowed and then revealed again — similarly there is a sense of the slate being wiped clean as new information comes to light. With Mercury conjunct Uranus at the time of the Eclipse there are likely to be shocking, mind-blowing or surprising, at the least, revelations, and perhaps information surfacing that could change everything. As much as what’s unfolding challenges your beliefs, it is liberating you from patterns you’ve outgrown and oppressive situations. With the Sun on the South Node in Aries, there is a clearing of the past and a reminder that actions speak louder than words — yours and others’.

The Nodes of the Moon are very Karmic, evolutionary points. And in my experience, they represent the “entry” and “exit” points out of this cycle of life, birth, death and re-birth; out of the limitations of time and space, into eternity.

At the time of an Eclipse with the Sun and Moon aligned with the Nodes, we’re aligned with destiny, offering a greater than usual opportunity to be liberated to recognize one’s immortal essence and inherent one-ness with all that is.
