Good Morning!

Welcome to the weekend, and you can bet this one will be high energy. I wrote a bit about the aspects a couple of days ago, so please also read the blog below.

Mars opposes Uranus in Aries today, while Mercury in Virgo trines Pluto in Capricorn. Expect to gain a solid awareness and to have powerful conversations that change your understanding of reality.

With Mars in opposition to Uranus and due to conjunct Saturn in Libra tomorrow, there could be sudden developments in relationships that show us a new road ahead.

As the Moon enters Aries, it triggers the T-square and Mars’ aspects. This is due to bring fierce passion and the determination to get things moving. But we are also being reminded of the weight of our actions and of their consequences.

It may feel like we’re banging our heads against a wall with certain situations, but there are constructive solutions present if we can let go of destructive thought patterns that prevent progress. An evolution of perspective could indeed change everything.

Move in faith, not fear, as you readdress what within yourself needs to open up for greater harmony and understanding with others. Remember, change always comes from the inside out.

Also, Mercury enters its shadow phase on Aug. 1, 2010 and stations retrograde in Virgo on Aug. 20, 2010. It will station direct again on Sept. 12, 2010 and finally move out of the shadow phase by Sept. 27, 2010.

Although we will be working with details, avoid getting too obsessive or worrying too much about how it will all turn out. During this period, we’re fine-tuning something to perfection, but recognize that every given moment is a divinely perfect one. Do things the best you can and then leave room for improvement. It’s all about the process.

Dear Friends,

It’s Wednesday afternoon as I write this. We’re coming down from the energy of a powerful Aquarius Full Moon and now stand under a fast-changing sky.

Currently the Sun is in Leo and the Moon in Pisces; this is romantic, passionate, creative, perhaps even dreamy energy. With all the pressure mounting, it may be impossible to escape from reality. Still, the planets suggest that there are spontaneous, delicious pleasures in the “here and now” for us to enjoy if we so choose.

There are other important shifts occurring in the sky now and through the weekend. Yesterday, Mercury entered Virgo after its recent transit through Leo. Astrologically, Mercury rules the mind, communication, siblings, intellectual processes, and property.

In Leo, this has been a time for exploring creativity, confidence and the courage to chase one’s passion and to speak one’s truth. Now, with Mercury entering its home sign of earthy Virgo, expect to get down to business, details and facts. All of the world’s greatest ideas would be lost if there were no desire or dedication to see them through to completion.

Also, today is the last day of Mars in Virgo. Tomorrow, on Thursday, July 29th, Mars enters Libra and will transit through that sign until mid-September. Expect rapid changes within relationships during this time.

On Friday and through the weekend, there are important aspects that suggest that important change is afoot. On July 30th, Mars opposes Uranus and Mercury trines Pluto; on July 31st, Mars conjuncts Saturn; and on August 1st, Mercury enters its shadow phase on the way toward its next retrograde.

As Mercury trines Pluto, it is due to bring a deeper, more solid understanding of facts as they stand and of what needs to change in order to bring progress and healing. The days surrounding Mercury’s shadow and retrograde motion are when important information tends to surface. Expect to have penetrative conversations and communication that leads to a potentially priceless discovery.

As Mars triggers the T-square, it will call for quick decisions, but recognize that what you are working toward is greater stability. Mars conjunct Saturn is starting us on a new relationship cycle that will last for at least two years. Remember: any relationship is only good to the extent that it meets the needs of both people involved.

It’s likely that we are deepening commitments at this time or, on the other hand, facing a difficult separation within relationships. The unknown may seem scary, but trust that the changes we are making are due to restore balance, peace, harmony and stability. Choose consciously based on your highest truth.

Dear Friends and Readers,

Welcome to the week! I don’t think you need this blog or astrology to tell you that things are intense out there as we head into the Full Moon at the end of the week with the T-square aligning in Cardinal signs. Expect this one to bring revelations and changes that carry us long into the future.

As the week progresses, expect the intensity to rise. Today the Moon is in Scorpio, and it will remain in that sign until 7:48 PM on July 20, 2010. These are also the final days of Saturn in Virgo before it shifts into Libra on July 21, 2010.

The Scorpio Moon can be challenging, bringing awareness of painful, darker emotions. But only in acknowledgment of pain and attachment to patterns that bring painful experiences can we begin to change and release them.

All relationships are in a profound and deep transformation right now. As Saturn enters its sign of exaltation, Libra, we are being ushered into an era that will re-balance the scales within our relationships.

This will require hard work, honesty, compromise and a willingness to share responsibility. But the rewards will be greater stability, peace, harmony and cooperation.

As the Moon moves through Scorpio, let go of all that weighs you down. There may be plenty that is yet unknown and up in the air, but the coming days will bring increased understanding. For now, follow your instincts.

With Mercury approaching an opposition to Neptune – also at the time of the Full Moon – don’t be too quick to jump to conclusions. There are huge changes taking place in the world and in our personal worlds, and we will not pass this way again.

What is significant is that the Sun will be harmoniously aligned with the T-square at the time of the Full Moon. As long as we move forward in fearlessness and courage, there is no obstacle that cannot be surmounted with faith.

It’s been quite the week, and the recent Eclipse has brought sweeping changes throughout the world and in our own personal worlds. Eclipses can seem overwhelming and tend to bring fated events. Especially currently, as the Grand Cross aligns in the sky – the hand of fate may seem like a heavy load to bear.

Cancer New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse report

The Moon is now making her way through Virgo on her way to a conjunction to Vesta, Mars, and finally Saturn on Friday morning at 9:45 AM EDT.

I wrote a bit about this in yesterday’s blog.  This will be the final conjunction of the Moon to Saturn in Virgo, [for the next thirty years] asking us to clean up our acts and learn the lessons of the past two years well, before we enter the next era of Saturn in Libra.

It all may seem like a heavy burden to bear, one with way too many details to address, but worrying (albeit a “natural response”) is a waste of energy.

I’ll be back with more astrology as time and the heavens permit, either later today or tomorrow. In the meanwhile, remember to breathe. Virgo is a reminder that we are but the hands of God.

Do what needs to be done to the best of your ability, and then have faith in a grander plan emerging.

Good morning everyone,

It’s Wednesday morning as I write this. The Moon is now void in Leo and enters Virgo in a few minutes.

With the Moon in Virgo over the next couple of days making conjunctions to Venus, Vesta, Mars and Saturn, expect the energy to get very detail oriented.

Today, July 14, 2010, the newly eclipsed Cancer Sun makes an important aspect as it squares Eris in Aries.

Eris is the newly discovered planet who, true to her mythology, was a cause of “discord” within the astronomical community – “demoting” Pluto to dwarf status.

Due to Eris’ extremely large orbit, everyone alive today has Eris in Aries in their Natal Charts. Eris astrologically points to the sense of internal fragmentation we feel as individuals living in today’s modern world. It begs the quintessential [Aries] question: “Who am I?”

Today, with the Sun’s square to Eris, there may be a struggle to balance our needs with the needs of others in our world. What is it that you need in order to feel safe and comfortable in your own skin? We can’t expect others to fulfill our needs if we don’t even know what they are ourselves.

Go inward to seek clarity and understanding rather than projecting insecurity outward or feeling resentful of what you feel is being unfairly asked of you.

Emotionally, creatively, financially and within relationships, we are working through some heavy stuff. Saturn’s passage through Virgo has not been the easiest transit, teaching us lessons of sacrifice, service, dedication, integrity and commitment to one’s path.

As the Moon conjuncts Saturn, the transit will bring us to a culmination of the lessons of Saturn in Virgo. We can get a lot accomplished over the next couple of days if we can keep to the task and rise above anxiety, worry and pressure to do what needs to be done.

Remember that we are coasting through highly fertile New Moon energy. Don’t underestimate your efforts to bring healing to a situation.

Next week, on July 20, 2010, Saturn enters Libra, and we will be entering a whole new era focused on finding balance and equality within our relationships.
