With the Sun past the Solstice and a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse only two days away, situations are reaching a climax. Expect powerful revelations over the coming days, unequivocally lighting the way forward to destiny.

Mercury is now at the end of its transit through Gemini. Before it ingresses Cancer tomorrow morning at 6:31 AM EDT, Mercury will make a couple of powerful aspects today to Saturn in Virgo and Neptune in Aquarius.

Mercury is the planet that represents the mind and communication. It may feel like wrestling with something that we can’t wrap our heads around, or like beating your head against a wall.

Good morning, and welcome to another huge day in the Cosmos [and the bar below my apartment already packed with screaming football fans waiting to watch USA play today,]

The energy is rising as the we inch closer to the Capricorn Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse. We can certainly see the urgency in the news. This is due to be an extremely emotional time that dredges up deep insecurities and anxiety over basic necessities like food, shelter, housing and employment.

Personal and business relationships are changing, as well, and in many cases the lines between the two are likely to be quite blurry.

With the Moon currently in Scorpio and the Sun moving toward an opposition to Pluto on Friday, be fluid as you release past emotional baggage and attachments to a past that has been the model of security. We are entering a new world, with possibilities opening up moreso than any sense of restriction.

Today on Wednesday, June 22, 2010 the Sun squares Jupiter in Aries. It may feel like taking a huge leap of faith. This is likely to bring to the surface huge, overwhelming feelings of desire and waves of optimism along with extreme nervousness. Consciously rise above your fears and insecurities; have faith in yourself as you as you take the plunge toward greater freedom and security.

Also today, the Scorpio Moon ingresses Sagittarius. As it does, it trines Jupiter and later trines Venus in Leo, adding to the dare-devilishness of the energy. Expect to feel rather passionately, fired up to make changes.

Just be aware that with Sun-Jupiter transits, there is always the danger of biting off more than we can chew. But find your depth and focus on what you want to achieve for the long-term. The upcoming Eclipse triggers the Grand Cross alignment and will bring with it changes that will carry us far into the future.

Welcome to the Solstice,

I don’t think there is anyone alive on this planet who doesn’t feel the earth moving beneath their feet, metaphorically or literally.

Today as the Sun enters Cancer, it reaches halfway through its journey through the zodiac. Also, at the end of the week we are heading toward a powerful Lunar Capricorn Eclipse as a Grand Cross aligns in the cardinal signs.

To put it in simple terms, we stand in a time of change like no other, and the events unfolding now have a larger than life message for our destiny. This is also marking the astrological climate for at least 6 months, if not for longer.

As the Sun enters Cancer, it squares Uranus late Monday in the US and on Tuesday in UK and Australia and squares Jupiter on June 23, 2010.

This can be unnerving and create a feeling of being pushed off into the deep end and into the unknown. There may be great big insecurities to deal with, but squares are aspects of change. And the current alignment seems to be divinely, cosmically aligned to help us find courage.

We are turning a corner, but we can’t know what’s around the corner unless we actually go around it. As much as Uranus can bring sudden change and unpredictability, Jupiter’s presence is the promise of a gift. Rise above your insecurities as you take a leap of faith.

Also today, shortly after the Solstice, the Moon enters Scorpio and adds to the intensity of the climate. Trust your intuition at this time without giving in to fear or paranoia.

With Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, in close conjunction to the North Node, there could be deep, penetrative insight coming through as to what the Eclipse is likely to reveal.

Rather than trying to control anything right now, work on purging and letting go to make space for the new to rush in. Fluidity will be the savior.

Moon in Virgo; Sun approaching a square to Saturn and trine to Neptune

Hello Friends,

With the Moon entering Virgo today [Thursday], we have a busy ‘end of the work week’ coming up. Use the time to get your ducks in a row.

Also on Thursday, Pluto in Capricorn sextiles Pallas in Scorpio as Mercury opposes the Great Attractor. Expect to have important conversations today surrounding business, intimate relationships and financial situations.

If we are willing to go deep, we can learn priceless information that shows us a new way forward. Pallas represents, at best, negotiating skills; at worst, she can be defensive. With Pallas in Scorpio sextile Pluto (ruler of Scorpio), look at what ideas and ideals you need to let go of in order to allow something new to take root.

Also, Venus in Leo squares Pallas today, suggesting that when it comes to love, sex or money, look at your own defensiveness, ego or attachments that get in the way of your desires. There is a golden truth that can be learned if we are willing to put aside the ego and seek pure essence. This is true for financial as well as emotional situations.

With the upcoming Lunar Eclipse in conjunction to Pluto, all aspects to Pluto are currently pointing to past structures and commitments and to the ‘past’ itself that needs to be transformed. With Pluto, what is certain is change. If we make these changes consciously, it won’t feel like being asked to jump off a cliff one fine morning.

Now, as the Sun makes its way through its last days in Gemini, it approaches a square to Saturn and trine to Neptune that will become exact over the weekend on Saturday, June 19, 2010.

Late Friday, just before midnight in the US and early Saturday in UK and Australia, the Virgo Moon squares the Gemini Sun, marking the First Quarter phase and bringing us to the half way point toward the Full Moon. Shortly after this, the Moon enters Libra just as the Sun’s aspects to Saturn and Neptune culminate.

No doubt we are already feeling this energy. Avoid being too analytical, critical or judgmental of yourself or others at this time. It may feel like there is a difficult choice to make or a difficult conversation that needs to happen.

But the trine to Neptune should bring enough energy to lift our spirits in spite of any “heavy lifting” that needs to be done.

With the Moon in Libra at this time, it should be easier to relate, so don’t be too harsh on yourself or others or put up barriers where you seek understanding and openness.

As we head closer to the Eclipses and to the Solstice on June 21, 2010 we can be sure we are coming up on major life changes that will shape the future. As long as we make choices in awareness, we can shape our destiny into not only something we can live with, but something that thrives.

Hello there. As you may have noticed, the pace of life is quickening. This is what happens in the proximity of eclipses. Events take a on a larger-than-life feeling as destiny begins to reveal itself.

As I write this, the Moon is in Leo, just past a conjunction to Venus. Meanwhile, Venus and Mars both make solid trines to outer planets, releasing a burst of raw, powerful energy. Venus in Leo trines Jupiter (and Uranus) in Aries, and Mars in Virgo makes a solid, earthy trine to Pluto in Capricorn.

We can make real, positive progress with these aspects if we can keep our eyes on the prize. The Venus-Jupiter aspect could have us feeling dramatically optimistic or wildly nervous about the road ahead. With the Sun in Gemini, it could be a bit of both. It’s OK to feel vulnerable; the aspect is calling on us to find the brightest hopeful visions in our hearts.

With Mars in Virgo in a solid trine to Pluto, there can be real progress made. Work toward healing something as you evolve from the past. We could get busy and probably get a lot accomplished today. Mars-Pluto aspects can bring on a tone of seriousness and heavy determination, but it doesn’t have to be all business. The Venus-Jupiter aspect is a reminder to have fun along the way.

Be spontaneous and open to exploring new avenues for fun. . . Romantically something could feel like a crazy wild risk. Venus ingresses Leo and trines Uranus in Aries

Welcome to a new week – and this one is sure to set off a few fireworks. Today Venus enters Leo and trines Uranus in Aries.

Expect unexpected opportunities to crop up surrounding relationship and financial situations. This energy could be unnerving as much as it is exciting and full of passion and adventure. There is a sense of being presented with the unknown.

With Venus in Leo over the next few weeks, be spontaneous, true to your heart and its desires. Something may feel like a bit of a risk. When it comes to love, money and art, dare to be original and explore the unexplored avenues. And now is a time when a smile and a little charm could take you far.

We are also still under the energy of a very powerful Gemini New Moon. Also this week, Venus trines Jupiter in Aries, Mars in Virgo makes a solid trine to Pluto, and the Sun squares Saturn and trines Neptune at the end of the week.

Given that this is the Sun’s last week in Gemini as it approaches a square to Saturn, it may feel like we are wrestling with a difficult choice. Avoid being too judgmental this week of both yourself and others; there is no ‘wrong’ choice.

Aspects developing suggest we are reaching a turning point, with a difficult situation bringing long desired freedom. Be determined, optimistic and brave as you move forward. Choices need to be made in faith, not fear.

We are also in the lead-in to the Eclipses, with the first Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn less than two weeks away completing the powerful Grand Cross alignment in the sky.

A Grand Cross is an alignment in which the planets form the shape of a cross in the sky with two sets of oppositions at 90º angles. Given that this one takes place with planets in Cardinal signs, the change that’s coming is due to be rapid, moving us along into the next stage of our lives and toward our destiny.
