Dear Friends,

Welcome to the weekend…

Early Saturday, the Moon squares Mercury in Aquarius — asking us to get real with ourselves. This reminds me of another nugget of wisdom from the ‘Dog Whisperer.’ If you haven’t watched the show I highly recommend it, even if you don’t have a dog (I don’t.) He works with energy much as we do in Astrology or any healing practices.

In this particular episode, Cesar Milan a.k.a the ‘Dog Whisperer,’ adopted a dog for his son. As he shared the news with his ecstatic son, Cesar also handed him a piece of paper asking him to read it and take an oath: to love and cherish his new companion, providing him with balance. Then he said reminding him, “What we speak must become reality — or we don’t have honesty, integrity or responsibility.”

That sums up today’s Moon-Mercury aspect to me. “One’s word is one’s worth.” True, we are always evolving from the past and we can’t be who we were yesterday. But any form of commitment ultimately is a commitment to oneself and one’s own integrity.

In Taurus the Moon is exalted and a solid reminder of what is important beyond the surface, unchanging with life’s seasons. Looks fade and everyone ‘cleans up’ good. Who are you beneath your skin? Be comfortable in that. We can’t speak our truth or have our needs met until we keep denying them to ourselves.

Late Saturday, there’s a potent quincunx between the Sun in Pisces and Mars retrograde in Leo. Mars has been retrograde in Leo since Dec. 20, 2009 and is heating up the first few degrees of Leo now as it slows down towards the end of this transit.

This has been singeing a hole through egos, challenging one to find inner confidence and passion. The Sun-Mars aspect today seems to be challenging one to find the source of inner confidence and passion. The Sun in Pisces is full of possibilities asking us to see the bigger picture. But first acknowledge any sense of disillusionment. Rise to meet your more soulful nature and be compassionate with your own wounds. As I mentioned yesterday, it seems there’s golden alchemy in the works.

Also on Saturday, Juno in the last degree of Aries trines a retrograde Vesta in Leo. Expect a few passionate exchanges within relationships. But with the trine aspect, it is will be easier to navigate this energy and make headway. Still become aware and more importantly own your own desires. How can we create the space for expression of individual needs in relationships? With Juno there is an independent streak, but keep sight of where your core devotion lies and what or who is sacred in your heart.

On Sunday, the Moon enters Gemini at 1:46 PM EST but first she squares Neptune and Chiron in Aquarius. This reminds me of a quote from Niles’ blog, describing this energy of Taurus Moon’s square to Neptune and Chiron beautifully — speaking an undeniable truth. “How can we ever expect to feed people’s souls when their bodies are hungry, homeless and hurting?  Too many ‘Christians’ [and I add ‘spiritual’ folks] I know are so ‘heavenly minded’ that they are no ‘earthly good.’ The Taurus Moon is a reminder of  staying grounded in reality, while we work towards a collective soul purpose.”

This brings us to a turning point from events that began at the time of the New Moon in Aquarius on Feb. 13, 2010. What was taking seed then is likely taking shape now, but there will be changes to be made if we don’t want to stay stuck in the past. Overcome doubts, stay rooted in your values and self-worth, as you move towards building the future you’ve recently envisioned.

I’ll be back with the Weekly Horoscopes. Here’s wishing you a safe and comforting weekend…

With Love,

Priya Kale, NYC

From Painted Soul: God and the Poor (Just One Perspective)

An Excerpt ==

In becoming more connected to those in need, we will see the hurting face of God…and learn that poverty is an affront to God and humanity.

It does not take much: a cup of water to a thirsty soul, volunteer at a soup kitchen or a shelter, visit the elderly, pray for those in prison (for no one, NO ONE, stands outside God’s Grace), or maybe make soup and sandwiches on your own (make sure to package with soup in a cup, spoon, napkin and placed in a brown paper bag) and just go walk around your city, or neighborhood and personally hand them out.  See how that changes your view and perspective…and always, always when encountering men and women who are homeless: ask their names.

For it humanizes both of you…for invisibility is one of the great sufferings of being poor and homeless, but knowing someone’s name makes the human. — Niles Comer, God and the Poor (Just One Perspective) www.paintedsoul.org

Hello All,

Early Friday at 5:54 AM EST the Moon enters Taurus and moves through the sign for most of the weekend until mid-day Sunday.

With the Moon in Aries over the past couple of days, although this has fostered independence there may have been a childish impetuousness in wanting to hang on to personal desires.

As she passes through Taurus she links with the planets in Pisces starting with the Sun offering opportunities to slip away from the grind and relax a bit.

But first soon after her ingress into Taurus she squares retrograde Mars in Leo. There may be a few inner pride and ego issues to deal with at this time. Squares point to an internal resolution — there is no sense in being stubborn about something that ultimately only stands in the way of your own desires.

A little later in the day on Friday at 3:41 PM EST, Mercury in Aquarius sextiles the Great Attractor in Sagittarius. We could be having important conversations at this time and there is new information coming to light. Be honest and willing to see a greater truth. The Great Attractor can tend to polarize things but in reality it is only the mind that cannot comprehend anything beyond a dual state.

With Mercury in Aquarius if we can keep an open mind, we can truly see new light in a situation. Create a safe space for a dialogue where each person can speak honestly and feel heard without judgment. This can only come with mutual respect and genuine desire to learn the truth. Which in this case seems to be more like a brilliant multifaceted precious diamond, rather than a two-sided story.

Also at almost the exact time of the Mercury-GA aspect, the Taurus Moon trines Pluto in Capricorn. We are evolving emotionally to a new level of maturity, cooperation, respect and understanding. Whether this is a business or personal situation, this is about values. Ground yourself in what is important and build on that as you evolve to find your highest integrity.

Friday night, early Saturday depending on where you are could prove to be rather “feel good” and romantic. With the earthy abundant Taurus Moon sextiling Jupiter and Venus in Pisces, the energy is rather indulgent almost begging us to explore our sensuality, sexuality and creativity.

With the Sun also in Pisces it should be easier to go with the flow but just be gently warned of excess and your hedonistic streak (I know I have one.) If we can focus our energy on what and who we value this could prove to be a rather soulfully enriching, divine experience.

There are a couple of major aspects developing on Saturday, with Juno trine Vesta and the Sun forming a quincuncx Mars. Also the Taurus Moon makes more aspects before she ingresses Gemini on Sunday, bringing us to a turning point of events that began with the New Moon. There’s golden alchemy in the works. I’ll be back with with the Weekly Horoscopes and more on the developing astrology late tonight or early Saturday.

On the whole, this could actually prove to be a rather lush grounding weekend. If you can, escape to a place you know you will be loved, comforted and valued. Even if you happen to be spending this weekend alone immerse yourself in that which bring you joy, pleasure allowing you to experience the richness, magic and eternal depth of each transient moment. We could be discovering diamonds and pearls…

Peace and Love,

Priya Kale, NYC

We’re now moving through the final hours of the Sun in Aquarius, with the Moon passing through Aries. But just before the Sun changes sign it opposes Vesta retrograde in Leo.

This is like to produce creative and sexual sparks. Vesta [especially in Leo] represents the core sacred creative fire of an individual. This is energy is often channeled through one’s work, in service and healing. But it’s important to keep awareness and not be in denial of the erotic, sexual element of this energy. When it comes to sex it is often the part that holds space for sexual healing.

With the Sun in the last degree of Aquarius there is a need for awareness, acceptance and acknowledgment of one’s own inner erotic desires and creative impulses. With Vesta, recognize there is an element of devotion that goes into keeping a flame alive.

Whether this is your sexual passion or creativity — find what makes you come alive. Own it, accept it and feed the flame, as you create space for it in your life. This also means owning one’s insecurities, pride or any fear of failure or rejection that prevents us from expressing the full extent of our passion. It may even help to beautify your living or work space to bring in fresh energy — and what you want to attract.

On Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, the Sun ingresses Pisces at 1:35 PM EST; 6:35 PM UT and early Friday, Feb. 19 at 4:35 AM AEST.

As the Sun moves into Pisces it joins Venus, Jupiter and Uranus in the sign, setting us on a magical journey over the next few weeks. The energy is due to get a lot “softer” than it has been lately. Soon the Sun will sextile Pluto and conjunct Jupiter by the time of the Virgo Full Moon at 7+ degrees. There’s smoother sailing ahead…

Moon in Aries | Juno in Aries trines the Galactic Center

Hello all,

A quick check in after yesterday’s endless blog. [I realized this morning I had Mercury trine my natal Jupiter in Gemini yesterday, which makes complete sense on the endlessness of it.]

Yesterday there were two conjunctions between Venus-Jupiter and Neptune-Chiron. In spite of the pain, hopefully you can see there is a softer benevolent presence. I have to admit though I know times are tough and everyone I know seems to praying for a small miracle, myself included. But at times like these when faith is tested is when we have the opportunity to experience the most magic and healing.

The Moon is now in Aries – past her opposition to Saturn and square to Pluto early Wednesday morning in the US. The toughest part is behind us now and the Aries Moon is fired up, pushing us to take charge of our lives.

Later this evening in the US, late night in the UK and early Thursday in Australia the Moon sextiles Mercury in Aquarius, making it easier to have important conversations. With the Moon in Aries it will be easier to speak for one’s individual needs but give another same space to be heard. This is likely to bring greater clarity, clearing the air.

Also today Juno makes a powerful trine to the Galactic Center. Relationships are likely to benefit from this transit, as is our own sense of independence. We are learning are primal desires as well the sacredness of our connection with another. This aspect is drawing us into those relationships that take us closer to a divine wisdom – leading us into the heart of God.

Dear Friends,

We’re moving forward from the recent New Moon. The energy peaks today with major aspects in the sky as Venus conjuncts Jupiter in Pisces and Neptune conjuncts Chiron in Aquarius. Venus in Pisces is allowing us to access to an infinite pool of sublime creative energy. Jupiter’s influence is expansive and benevolent one and the conjunction can be a profoundly soothing influence. This conjunction is overflowing with financial, emotional, creative and romantic [yes I said it] opportunities.

We can skim the surface or go as deep as we choose. If we want to experience a deeper depth of ecstasy and intimacy, we’ve got to be willing to dive in, open up and dissolve in feeling. Surrender the expectation of what form something takes or comes in and there could be an experience of swirling in divine ecstasy. This is a more subtle ethereal energy, so follow a heart song and paint the world with colors of your soul.

Either way we can’t go “wrong” with this kind of an aspect. This is about learning to trust the wisdom of existence itself. Be it love, money or creativity — it’s all energy and right now the veil is thin. We just have to be open to receive and humble enough to ask for the help we need. Also surrender expectation of what form something takes or comes in. Especially when it comes to love, be open to receive and give generously. What’s the point of rolling in money, if you don’t have people you love to share it with? Love, money, creativity are all manifestations of the divine feminine.

It is important to remember with Pisces — we are talking about the whole. Which includes the “good” and the “bad.” See through the “illusion” with the wisdom of the heart. Jupiter always warns of excess but as long as we are wise in our choices, emotionally and tangibly we may experience a small miracle.

Earlier tonight (it’s now 3:30 AM EST on Tuesday) I was watching the National Geographic channel and they are currently playing a new series called “A Traveller’s Guide to the Planets” on Venus and Mercury. The “words” used by the commentators  were not so different from what an “astrologer” would use to metaphorically describe energy. “Venus the Goddess of Love — she will melt your heart and crush your defenses at the same time.” “Venus is a picture of coolness and calm but shrouded in mystery.” They were obviously talking about the atmospheric and physical conditions on the planet.

But isn’t this also our experience of ‘love’ sometimes? Somewhere along the way — many of us learn love equals pain. It may be true that when we invite pleasure we invite pain. But this is only mental duality. The physical atmospheric conditions on Mercury are extremes of fire and ice, on the near and far side from the Sun. Much like the duality of Mercury and the “mind.” Love has no opposite. Venus exalted in Pisces is a speaks the same truth of the poets and mystics. Bliss, love, ecstasy or what is called ‘Sat Chit Anand’ is indeed our natural non-dual state of being.

“Reading” astrology is a mystical art. Ancient astronomers and astrologers knew this when they studied and assigned planets their properties. Well before we had scientific “proof” of pictures from  probes landing on planets to give us the data. The more we focus on the physical — the more we miss the ethereal. Rather than focus on one or the other, or be attached to “form” — it’s time to see with an all encompassing “eye.” This is Universal knowledge we EACH have access to.

In ancient times, there was no separation between astronomers and astrologers. Somewhere along the way ‘science’ separated itself from a greater whole. I was actually shocked at the close-mindedness (putting it mildly) a few months ago when I saw a YouTube clip with Carl Sagan (whose work I have enjoyed over the years since I was a child) talking about Astrology and Astronomy, dismissing Astrology. I started writing up a blog/article which I will get back to and post soon enough.

With so much Neptunian and Piscean energy in the sky, there can be true healing on a soul level But there is also a an absolute need for awareness. As a precaution don’t get carried away in fantasy NOR and more importantly a cloud of gloom and despair. With Neptune and Chiron the message is always awareness and truth is always liberating albeit painful at times. Chiron’s energy transcends from the ‘physical’ to the ‘spiritual.’ Bringing a recognition that energy is energy and the two are not separate other than in perception.

When working with clients, I look at their Chiron transits. The way these transits manifest is unique for everyone but there is generally a recurring theme; giving us a reflective understanding of the greater unfolding story of their spiritual journey. It is specifically powerful in going deeper into the source of any subconscious wounding we may carry. In many way’s personally I feel is strongly representative of our life’s healing work. Ultimately there is a realization that what one sees as their greatest curse, is often in fact their greatest gift. Expect there to be some recognition of this now.

We store pain in our body and Chiron transits are specifically ‘designed’ to bring a release to this energy so we don’t carry it forth. Chiron is strong acting force in any chart with health problems. This is generally a deeper sign of some blockage which is then solidifying biologically to create physical problems — be it weight gain or loss, back aches or any other diseases. This is simply a sign of blockage in the flow of Chi. When we release emotional baggage, we can literally shed weight and ‘miraculously’ cure ailments.

Another day I will also write a blog on the stigma of being “fat.” Which is more often than not, a sign of stored emotional pain. There may be psychological issues embedded from the early stages of life coming to the surface now. But the more we can “owns” the pain and release it, the greater the healing and liberation.

Just as the Saturn return at the age of 30 represents a coming of age. The Uranus opposition at the age of 42 — when one has the potential to experience a spiritual awakening. Naturally this differs from person to person, depending on your personal spiritual work and evolution. Similarly at the age of 50, we experience a Chiron return, signifying essentially a rebirth of consciousness. These are mark important stage of evolution within a person’s life.

There are many ‘Buddhas’ walking among us, unseen by our veiled perception. There is a reason we say someone is “chosen” — for as much as we create our destiny with our choices, we are chosen vehicles for a greater mission. At some point the “self” dissolves in the greater cosmic ocean — where only the will of the creator lives on through us. We don’t have to “believe” in God for God to exist. Shouldn’t Creation be proof enough of the Creator? We don’t have to believe in God for God to believe in us. Similarly we don’t have to “believe” in astrology, for it to work. Astrology is just a study of planetary cycles, bringing us insight into the divine wisdom of stars, the Universe and very cosmic energy we are each made of.

Neptune represents the soul, it is also the ruler of Pisces. It’s conjunction to Chiron is bringing a rapid transformation of awareness collectively as well as on a very individual level. Expect important stories to surface in the news. Perhaps surrounding health care. Although I would say don’t be too quick to “fall” for something. There is plenty of goodwill but still — it’s best to use an inner discretion with anything that sounds too good to be true. Nor be inclined despair at something that seems like “bad” news. Aquarius asks we go beyond the duality of the mind and simply experience with a deeper awareness.

On a personal level — there can be great healing as long we can first become aware of the wounds. Again here with Neptune and Chiron, what feels like one’s greatest curse is likely pointing to the very aspect that is actual fact our greatest Gift. There may be a deep longing for acceptance among one’s peers or community — but again first must come self-acceptance. This can be rapidly cleansing and transformational process, which if worked through consciously can help crystallize a growing awareness of soul truth. Pay attention to your deepest yearnings. If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed with the energy which — literally “breathing” out the energy might help. Find fresh air or open spaces and take a deep breath.

Aquarius is also a reminder of the grace of humility to see us through our darkest hours. The phrase “humility precedes true greatness” in fact describes the magic and revolutionary nature of Aquarius the best. It’s not “knowing” or thinking one can effect change, but believe to believe in something with each breath of one’s being. Only you can define your success. And if we don’t make success the goal, we can never fail. Find the courage to live your truth regardless of what anyone thinks. Not selfishly, but knowing that in following a calling and inner truth, we are indeed acting in the best interests of all — the collective.

Happy Heart Day, Aquarius New Moon and New Year….

A little late Happy Valentine’s Day and of course a Happy New Moon and Happy New Year of the Metal Tiger…

It’s Sunday evening as I write this on Feb. 14, 2010. We’re just past a potent Aquarius New Moon and have plenty of aspects coming up this week. Given that today is Valentine’s day, relationships are likely the focus.

Normally I would rant about the commercialization of Love — something money cannot buy. Don’t get me wrong — I’m a total romantic. But I’m sure you share my sentiment when I say, what’s wrong with telling someone we love them everyday? Do we really need Hallmark to remind us of our love, or feel miserable for not buying into the sham?

Regardless this year the stars do seem to be aligned rather harmoniously and there seems to be earthy, soulful, passion brewing this week. The most “romantic” dreamy aspect indeed occurs later in the week when Venus conjuncts Jupiter. But even over the next couple of days with the Mars-Venus aspects there can be fresh hope and inspiration, soothing wounds.

Over the next 24 hours, on Monday Feb. 15, 2010, Venus in Pisces sextiles Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Leo sextiles Saturn in Libra. Here is an excerpt from the Aquarius New Moon report describing these aspects —

“As Mars sextiles Saturn (with both planets retrograde) there can be a stabilization of something that has been a burning issue. There is likely to be an inner recognition of the need to put egos aside and work towards greater co-operation within relationships.

“With the Venus-Pluto sextile there can be opportunities to discover divine depths of intimacy — especially with Venus’ conjunction to Jupiter later this week. But Pluto rules the subconscious, so look at how subconscious fears or boundaries prevent you from experiencing something more fully. Look closely at past fears seeping into the present and coloring your perception of what is present and true in your world today.” — Priya Kale, Feb. 14, 2010, Aquarius New Moon report.

As the week progresses, expect the energy to shift pretty quickly. No doubt the recent past has been painful but in letting go – we are clearing space for something new to rush in. And if we can watch our expectations we could be more than delighted with what turns up.

I’ll be back with more astrology… In the meanwhile the Sample Weekly Horoscopes are in the post below this one.

Here’s wishing you all the love in the world,

Priya Kale, NYC

Also in the spirit of this Aquarius New Moon here is an excerpt from Painted Soul —

“We are all on a journey, a returning, seeking our Home.

“We are all ‘in this together’ – living on this planet, we need to re-member that we are all connected.  Regardless of race, creed, color, or socioeconomic status…we are all members of the human family.  The time is now for us to start living out that truth.

“Let us look inward and realize that the person sitting on the heating grate in the dead of winter is just that: a Person!

“The homeless are not statistics, nor a nuisance, nor a blight.  “They” are someone’s son, daughter, father, mother.
THEY are US!  For there is no Them in Us, there is only Us!
We all long to belong.  We all feel pain.  We all hunger for better days.  We are all (just) humans in search of a Home.

“Homelessness is a spiritual opportunity: an opportunity to touch and be touched by God’s grace.
Meeting people where they are, as they are – as humans – we are offered an opportunity: an opportunity to build a more just and loving world, an opportunity to reclaim some of our own humanity…and our own humanness.

“By touching the hungry, the homeless, the hurting – including the hungry and hurting in us – I believe in some small way we touch the suffering Face of God…and find hope and healing.” — Niles Comer, Homesick for (a) Home: homelessness & the longing for home

This week takes you to a vantage point of possibilities.  You’ve had a solid glimpse of your own inner strength and the work you need to do to create the life you want. There is greater inspiration on offer to you now so open your mind to the possibilities. Professionally you are being noticed and you have friends in high places who could help you now. LIBRA

The recent New Moon has invited you dive into your heart and find it’s truth. This week brings you a chance to begin to recreate your life the way you dreamed it. But what is life essentially other than an experience of the here and now. Over the next few weeks open yourself up to the flow of inspiration rushing into your world. Stay grounded in your truth and what you are trying to create and you will not drift aimlessly. Also become aware of the deeper subconscious fears that hold you back from experiencing something new. You will never know unless you try. As long as you use your best judgment and are wise, you are free to create, live, love and give generously of your being. You have the support of important partners on this journey. You may have doubts about this, but something is stabilizing now. Focus on what really brings you a feeling of well being. Sink into existence as you rediscover your love for life itself.

AQUARIUS

A New Moon in your sign at the beginning of the week marks a powerful new beginning for you. You are unfurling now to discover your own self, free of the past as you are today. In spite of all your recent fears that something was going to fall apart, expect this week to bring significant improvement in the way of emotional and tangible gifts. But what you are really learning is the depth of your own worth. Over the next few weeks go deep to find what you truly value. Also look at the more shallow subconscious desires that may control your choices. The more you can become honest with yourself about what is truly important to you – you can attract into your world that which you desire. There is no need for fear and doubt to stand in the way of your ideals. You can find the right balance between freedom and commitment, if you can speak up and ask for it.

Aquarius New Moon Dawning…

==

A quick check in as we enter the dark of the Moon. This New Moon takes place at 25+ Aquarius in a tight conjunction to Neptune and Chiron. It reaches exact lunation on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at 9:51 PM EST and on Feb. 14, 2010 at 2:51 AM UT and 12:51 PM AEST.

Also only a day and a half later on Feb. 15, 2010 Venus sextiles Pluto and Mars sextiles Saturn.

Of course this is also Valentine’s weekend and truthfully, the stars are aligned to experience deeper trust and richer love if we open ourselves to it. The energy is due to flourish pretty quickly after the weekend.

The Balsamic phase we are currently in is a potent time for seeding a new cycle. Focus on deep emotional and spiritual cleansing and emptying. Nature abhors a vacuum and there are greater treasures and stability on the way if we can let go of a painful past so there can be space for something new to rush in.

Acknowledge wounds with no denial, in deep awareness. Chiron’s force is rapidly transformational and in conjunction to Neptune there can be a profound soul healing. But this can only come with an acknowledgment of the ways we feel wounded for being different from everyone else.

Aquarius represent freedom, friends and the collective consciousness. It also represents enlightenment and liberation, which comes from a freedom from ‘attachment’. ‘Attachment’ not necessarily in the sense of giving up material possessions or relationships, but rather recognizing that only the NOW — this moment is real. So if anything we can cherish these moments more deeply and not be attached to the past or the future.

We are free to love who we want to love, or be who we are. It is only when we accept our own reality deeply, can there come the realization that there is no other way to be. Then we can live, love and create without fear.

Aquarius is the sign also the sign that is deeply aware of it’s individual, unique purpose and it’s greatest message is self-acceptance. For only in self-acceptance is one “free” to “be.” If each person can focus on their own healing, we are strengthening the collective and all the lives we touch.

People with Moon-Chiron conjunctions in their charts can be powerful healers, but their sense of emotional wounding is also the greatest due to their deep sensitivity. As any healer knows, first comes the task of healing oneself.

Also today Thursday, Mercury trines Saturn in Libra — it will be easier to have an honest conversation today. Especially within relationships, this is likely to help negotiations so each person can speak their truth and have it be heard, building trust. Ultimately it is the fear of judgment or reaction from someone even if we love them that keeps us from being honest. With Mercury due to oppose Mars early Friday, There may be difficult truths to come to terms with, but try not to shoot the messenger.

Go deep into your own space to find your essence — in no denial. New Moon’s can be unnerving and this one is likely to be intense. But in releasing past wounds, there is bound to be healing and the discovery of a liberating truth.

Warmly,

Priya Kale, NYC

Mercury ingresses Aquarius | Venus ingresses Pisces

The greater the doubt, the greater the awakening. — Einstein

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls
Where words come out from the depth of truth
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit
Where the mind is led forward by thee
Into ever-widening thought and action
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

A human being is a part of the whole universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a prison, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.  — Einstein.

Dear Friends,

We stand under ever changing skies as we edge into the dark of the Moon. Mercury entered Aquarius yesterday and today Venus enters Pisces and the energy is shifting.

We’ve been through difficult territory recently; Mercury in Capricorn has had us shackled to tradition, boundaries and the past.

Venus in Aquarius sought individuality in spite of wanting and needing acceptance and support. Now as both Mercury and Venus enter their signs of exaltation, we can break free of the mental boundaries and expect the energy to flow a lot smoother.

When a planet is in it’s sign of exaltation, we see the highest manifestation of energy of both the planet and the sign. Here the mind is able to be free of thought, open and receptive to the waves of the collective consciousness. A silent mind is able to hear ‘truth’ spoken just a little louder and clearer — whether it comes from within, an external source or the ether.

In that quiet unexpected moment, after you’ve spent hours trying to figure something out suddenly out of “nowhere” comes a stroke of genius or a brilliant new insight that changes everything.  Given that we are in womb of the Aquarius New Moon, there is a new idea waiting to birth itself if we can only be receptive.

With Mercury in this sign, it will be easier to speak honestly without taking things personally and letting the ego getting in the way. In all conversations and communication — there is a greater truth out there waiting to make itself known if we can only open up to it. It would help to remember, at best the mind is a satellite dish through which we can channel a higher awareness. This is the knowledge that doesn’t come from books, but from the beyond.

Venus represents the Divine Feminine, in Pisces she is opening the heart to a experience a higher consciousness.  Although this can be dreamy energy and certainly conducive to romantic fantasies — this is about discovering the greater love for existence itself. Now, there can be an experience of dissolving in the heart of the Creator, to discover the same infinite divine source overflowing from within.

Venus’ recent transit in Aquarius there may have been a sense of disconnectedness, bringing awareness that freedom comes with it’s price. Now we can close this gap and give and receive more freely — whether this be emotional, financial, sexual or creative energy. How ‘successful’ a dream is — be it a profession, a relationship or creativity is only limited by the love poured into it.

All that ever came into existence, came from nothingness. Somewhere in the void – lies the seed of creation and Venus in Pisces is giving us access to that infinite pool of pure creative potential.

When it comes to love — there can be a deeper experience of unconditional, spiritual, soulful love. The kind that needs no “reason” to exist. It simply is. This is not about a fantasy, or just romance, but recognizing a deeper eternal truth: Only love is real.

Real “love” is not something that can be bottled up, understood, possessed, withheld and any attempt to do so generally brings pain. It knows boundaries and exists in a state of pure, incessant, compassion, quenching the heart and soul all it touches like holy wine. Sexually as well, this can be a deeply healing transit; bringing ecstasy and divine transcendence.

Given that we are now moving into the dark of the Moon — expect things to get a little weirder before they get clearer. The darkest hour is indeed before the dawn. The energy will shift after the weekend but now is a time to go deeper within. Seek truth in awareness — with no denial of your wounds, doubts and needs for healing.

This the Aquarius New Moon — the sign of hope and faith in absence of physical proof. It represents enlightenment. But what is enlightenment other than an awakening to “the truth.” It is freedom from the veil of perception that keeps us earth bound, unaware of our inherent divinity and infinite creative potential.

Have faith, there is a new hope on the horizon…

Love,
Priya
